Well, to be fair the helpers were spot on.:m
Your daughter should meet mine. She wet her knickers at play school so she took them off and put them in the basket of Lego. Someone touted on her (a boy of course) and the teacher asked her why she put her wet knickers in the lego basket and she said that's where her mammy puts dirty knickers.

NO. I DO NOT!

She meant the laundry basket. (but I would say that😜)

Your user name. LuvMegLongtime. That shoulld do it.
I
Will have a try but cannot guarantee how long I shall be able to keep it up before I rant my usual venom at them. Lego doesn't have the same ring anymore since my Grandson loves it😅😅

Good morning everybody :) I stayed up late and consequently overslept and now I feel like death. Good job I don't have to go to work.
Re: Anne Bolyn. I think if someone is a good enough actor they should be able to play any role regardless. But I read recently that theatres in the UK have agreed that if a role is trans, then they will employ a trans person to play it. I find this ridiculous. Will they deny a really good actor a job in order to give a transperson who isn't very good at acting the role instead? And if the transperson is a fantastic actor wouldn't they get fed up of only getting trans roles? Because presumably is a character is gay, it has to be a gay man who plays it. Or a prostitute if they play call girl characters? Then again, wifey would suddenly have tonnes of roles open to her, wouldn't she? Erggh. Too early to be discussing this stuff, haven't had enough coffee yet. :coffee:

@Cinnamon.girl @LadyMuck I am here. Somewhat. I just can't stomach them right now. Been skip reading though, but missed out on the French bread being gone. Why? Did it have a crumble down like I have or was it chopped up to croutons by the evil admin forces?

Them two is what Freda says!

P.S. The movie titles are very witty!

I'm sure that I can remember Baguette saying she'd had enough, and was leaving Tattle; I I think it was after the funeral, or thereabouts.

I just saw that a black woman is playing Anne Boleyn. Why do I have a WTF moment about that.? Can you imagine the woke brigade going bonkers (there’s that word again) over someone white playing a black historical figure. That’s all.
Back to the two losers who I don’t really have much to say about because it is spookily quiet and I am waiting for the explosion with bated breath.

i know....its so hard to know how to take something like this that messes with historical accuracy to such an incredible extent.

Does this now mean that Queen Elizabeth the first, is now to be thought of as mixed race, because her mum is /was black?

I really want to ask, or say, after watching Hamilton the musical, on film, which is about the american war of independence, a period of history I know virtually nothing about, Isnt it a shame that black rights in the USA have gone backwards so much in the last 300 years!
According to Hamilton the movie, all the major players/politicians in the war of Independence, were black, apart I think from King George lll

It is so tricky..... I want to see equality, but not distortion of facts! Hamilton was a great movie, the music and staging was incredible, but is it at all accurate about events of the American war of independence?

One of my nephews is a heroin addict. He has been in recovery (twice as first time didn't take) and is maintaining and getting his life together. He just got accepted to law school in the US on a full scholarship and I am so proud of him (my sister, his mom died when he was 12) Anyway, I DO remember that poster from the 80s too! I just don't see Kate doing anything like that- it's really a vile accusation. I do think she looks awfully thin but really if she's healthy, it's no one's business.
I have a mate who was painfully thin ,tall but fit and healthy but was always eating
Her sister was on the larger side her brother a average size
This was before we heard much about eating disorders
One day their was a program on tv about it
I thought maybe she was bulimic
We went on holiday for a week and shared a room with a bathroom
As normal she ate well but no sneaking off to the bathroom
Was years later when she got married and got pregnant they found she had a a overactive thyroid
Kate does not look ill or gaunt
So probably naturally lean

Couldn't agree more. When actors act, they can be anything - so why pretend that only a gay or trans person could play a gay or trans person? Presumably only yer real actual murderers can play the villain in a police drama. I was intrigued that Ian McKellan is going to play Hamlet - aged 81 - in an age-blind, gender-blind, colour-blind production. Phew. If he can pull that off, then that will be proper acting.

Thank you, @Nuttynana for offering to get the ball rolling in the Bait-a-Sugar game of Terrible Tattoos. I don't know if they'll go for it, though they are stupid enough. Am I very evil to find it amusing to think of them being inked for life with a bad picture of a bad person? I suppose they could go to a tattoo fixer afterwards and get Schmegans face changed to Ursula the Sea Witch. Whom she uncannily resembles (see below: on the left, Minge and Cringe; on the right, Vanessa and Prince whatever-his-name-is).

It's very easy to 'give birth' in silence when you're not the one doing it!

Is anyone else picturing a birthing scene like in the Handmaid's Tale?
Smeggy would find it impossible to be quiet 🤫 and why miss an opportunity to shout at Hazno? 😁

Anyway surely the great faux feminist Smeggy wouldn't take advice on birthing that was written by a MAN (nutcase fiction writer Hubbard) who wouldn't have a bleeping clue 🤷‍♀️ especially if she hasn't joined the cult.... makes no sense at all.

Her PR people are struggling at the moment to come up with anything feasible to give them good media presence.

The silence is to tease us about the new dolly whilst hatching new plots to stay relevant.

I agree, I think she has had the baby/the baby has arrived and the announcement is probably going to be on June 10th (Prince Philip's birthday) or June 12th (Trooping the Colour).
Oh I do hope so. The Euro 2020/1 football championship starts on the 10th and features England, Scotland and Wales. Let's hope for a good run from all 3 teams to quickly Markle any incoming baby news 😁

Yes, and also Catherine's whole family are slender. And also, also, she is pure sleek muscle. That nasty rumour was so vile and obviously untrue that it could only have come from the Mouth of Schmegan or Schmegan herself. The commenter on CDAN claimed to 'know MM' personally. H'mm.

The Royal Family have always had long memories, can't see them forgiving and forgetting anytime soon.

'My lord, I had forgot the fart' were her first words on welcoming him home. :ROFLMAO:

The whole point of being an actor/actress (not PC, I know, but still...) is playing someone they are most likely not. They don't need to HAVE the life experience of it, it's what research is for, and acting is the ability to evoke the emotions without necessarily having lived through them. How would anyone play any killers otherwise, just to name one?And while I do agree in principle that the role should always go to the best actor for the job, in case of historical/real people it is also vital that the actors they cast are close in background/ethnicity/looks to the person they are portraying. As pointed out before, can you imagine the noise if a white actor was to play MLK or Nelson Mandela?? Ridiculous notion. And plenty of gay actors playing straight people convincingly (Andrew Scott in Fleabag, anyone? ☺), so why is the opposite such an outrage?

But, yes, if life-experience was a requirement, she would be very sought-after for all the escort roles...😂

No idea re the series, but re "nothing from them at the moment" ... let's be honest, however the baby was created it has clearly arrived. She's still in hiding, either from being seen with 'imperfect' baby weight, or on the pretence of playing newly delivered mom. But he's also gone to ground. After the recent two week tsunami of him mouthing off to Dax and Porka and GMA ... crickets. So he must be playing dada and bonding. The bonus in that for smeggy is that while he's doing that he can't put his foot in his mouth re the first amendment or not getting mental health help issues. People get a chance to forget what a twit he is before his next foray into things he knows duck all about. Our brains regroup.

Re the Diana statue. I honestly don't think he will come. Last time he came he did the minimum needed, quarantine, bury gramps and bye bye. If he's on meds, and especially if he reads comments saying he deffo is, he'll be more paranoid about being watched and his behaviour monitored.
He thinks he's a big shark in the USA, but must know by now that in the UK he's just a lil sprat. We don't buy his Billy Big Bollix bovine excrement any more and that will hurt, even tho he'll claim he doesn't care. Oh he cares.;)
I think he'll get a note from mummy smeggy excusing him from the event because the dog ate his speech.
But he'll insist on a video and she'll be in it as well, with her hand up his arse operating him as usual.
He’ll be “excused” by the arrival of Doriana. Then they’ll put out some grim statement about being his mother’s son and how spending time with her children was always far more important to her than attending a stuffy statue unveiling.

How times have changed. Didn't the Queen meet the man thought to have organised the attack on and death of Mountbatten? Mountbatten was very close to Philip (his uncle?) and a third cousin of the Queen.
And people say the monarchy hasn't modernised

The admiration I have for the Queen doing that goes far beyond words.
