Is it too much to ask to just see Ryan & his Granny drive off to the Himalayas (after his GCSE’s obvs ) I just want Ryan to realise how much Catherine has done to protect him & also for her to know he loves her just as much!

Would also like to see Catherine get her closure with The Lone Ranger dead, preferably after some gratuitous naked scenes.

And I NEED to know why that little girl won’t take her bloody coat off.

I do think it won't be a happy ending though, Ryan chooses TLR & Claire is curtains is my prediction. (Based on no evidence, just a guess!)

no offence to your friend but the idea of Catherine being bad is absolutely ludicrous I think they’ve missed the entire point of the show

I think TLR has to die, or at the very least end up back in prison. There needs to be some justice and outcome the viewer can like, otherwise it's just gonna end up being like Line of Duty when we all called it out for being a bag of shite.

I know, I agree! when she said it, I audibly gasped I feel like the ending message will be that the family will do absolutely anything for Ryan (possibly die ) but I'm just not sure if Ryan will be swayed by his dad or not

I think that old guy who Tommy is staying with is significant.
Maybe he is a top OG boss and Tommy does something to him or the old man reports back to Darius that Tommy is a liability and the whole Marbella thing gets scrapped...
Also Alison will Deffo be involved in the final episode...

I agree. The synopsis for episode 6 says: "Scores are settled for good on Catherine's final shift." I really don't see how they can give the show proper closure without him dying. Clearly him being in prison is not enough to keep him out of their lives. And it feels like too much of a waste to write such an incredible female lead character just to kill her off at the end.

Thought I’d miss this episode as away but found a TV showing it. Yay! Had to stay up late though. Definitely worth it.
Gobsmacked that Richard thought it wise to go off to meet Darius and leave Ryan with Roz, who was already drinking.
Couldn’t understand why Catherine left Ryan with the hapless Clare and Neil at Nev’s.
I don’t think Ryan would be protected by them if TLR showed up.
I could see why Catherine was in such a dangerous and quietly angry mood.
Very surprised with Darius picking up TLR personally. I liked his advice to him which we all knew would be roundly ignored.
What a series. I was so tense listening to the final TLR and Ryan conversation.

I think they will all find out just how much they love Ryan, yes.

For a satisfying arc Catherine has to come out with something she really wants - ultimately I think that’s the safety of her grandson.

Deffo think TLR’s housemate is basically the Godfather of Halifax organised crime.

as soon as I saw him I said to my fam, I bet he's hard as duck.

I feel like no one is giving enough attention to how utterly ridiculous TLR looked wrapped in his little quilt playing on his PlayStation that he barely understands how to use
He is such a raging narcissist, his smile talking about how he’s on the news and telling the story of escaping
Ryan will surprise us all I think. There’s more to him than the gullible little idiot he seems to be at the moment.
Ann was awful to him. Fair enough telling him the truth but she was vile to him, he’s only a kid and he didn’t know any of that because no one deigned to tell him!

I wonder if the old guy is Darius and his brother’s dad? He’d be about the right age…I agree it seems like he could be the boss - I just don’t see the top boss going to pick up TLR when the risk of capture is so high. I think they were trying to assess how much of a liability TLR is so wanted someone senior but maybe not the most senior to receive him - if it was only a taxi service, they’d have just sent any old Knezevic to pick him up. This is all just spitballing

On one hand though you’d think you wouldn’t leave the suddenly acrobatic, erratic & murderous TLR alone in a house with the most important guy in the gang… idk idk!

I think he will end up in a rooftop situation where he needs Ryan to grab his hand to save him from falling, but Ryan let's him go.
