I couldn’t abide Lizzie, I felt she was so keen to come over as a person who had been so cool when she was young, and that she thought she would win the competition. My daughter and I cheered when she was sent home. She was a good sewer, but they should all be that and she did that thing some of them do, explaining why she was doing things as if she was imparting wisdom. Then there is Asmah. Quiet, unassuming, humble , but absolutely AMAZING. Come on girl, take home that trophy. ❤
I couldn't stand Lizzie either. All that girly surprise and delight when she was praised; gasping and clapping her hands to her face. For the first few weeks it seemed that she could be in with a chance. Then she began to mess up and I felt really mean to be pleased! 😕

I have not been as into it as I was the past two years, and I love sewing. I think Asmaa will likely take the win.
I have left to the last minute sewing a shirt for my boyfriend and playsuit for myself for our holiday and quilting/constructing a cushion for my friend’s birthday present (which is tomorrow), today is my only opportunity and I’ve been having to do all this in between my job WFH, it’s been stressful 🤣 I think if I’d filmed this it would be more entertaining than this year’s GBSB 😂

I hope not, that’s too predictable. Would love to see one of the others take the win.

I agree. From day 1 she was the best sewer and that's not very interesting. I love to see a contestant learn from the experience and grow their skills over the weeks. That's what the show is about, for me anyway. Same with Strictly - I love seeing the progress and someone you'd never imagine win or at least make it to the final

Sorry but the transformation challenge was a waste of cleaning supplies that none would or could wear. Next year they could really do with a revamp of that round. Do something else.

Asmaa's jumpsuit was great, I would wear it.
Vicky's trench coat, bless her, those buttons 😂
The right person went.

Not for the 1st time

Dafuq is Sarah wearing
I defended her last week, as that cream silk blouse was beautiful, but this week was just mental, I'm not sure what she or her stylist was thinking, it radiated strong "Mummy Has Given Up And The Toddler Has Dressed Herself Today" energy.

Esme looking so very gleeful when she realised poor Vicky had fallen into the sneaky trap of mens' trenchcoats buttoning left-over-right was cruel but hilarious, kudos to the cameraman for capturing her evil grin.

I would 100% wear Asmaas' slinky jumpsuit to a night out, and 100% wear Tonys' camo jumpsuit on a walk with small children, all those massive pockets would be such a godsend, you could fit everything in them and not have to bother with a handbag or rucksack!

Just caught up and did think Vicki had to do a lot of adjustments to her model and that must have taken up a lot of her time compared to others from actual sewing.

Asmaa for the win from me still, do see the POV that it’s boring but honestly she is the most skilled without a doubt.

Mia wearing last season Gyles Brandreth! He has made so much money from that sweater design. Princess Diana wore it too.

Loved Aasma’s dress. Worthy of garment of the week.
So I would have put Fauve at 34, she’s 26. And Lizzie at 57, she’s 49. Sewing ages people, all that squinting.
what does Mia do t afford that kind of money - I wouldn’t pay that for a dress let alone a jumper!
aasma’s dress was beautiful buti didn’t like the colour but worthy of the win. Unfortunately I just can’t warm to her, she gives me faux nicely nicely but secretly smug perfectionist that hates to loose.

Fanve being only 26, 34 was generous, I’m 33 and I put her at 38.
I thoughtLizzie was around 55 but she definitely lost it in her transformation challenge, you had to make a iconic‘s outfit, she wasn’t listening and picked someone too out there. Might be main to you but not to everyone and her final challenge dress was okay but a basic French seam on the side, how’d you get that wrong.
