Great British Sewing Bee #2

Bubbles outfit looked like a pink bin bag with a black drawstring. I just don't get her style at all and her sewing today showed she needs more skills and time management. Personality-wise she's great on TV. I bet the producers wished she was a better sewer. Never sewed on a hook and eye? Should've gone first episode for that admission.

Luke was so close to a great final outfit! He had the vision but that precise collar HAD to be perfect. He really seemed to enjoy the sewing today which was nice to see. He's really gained confidence. Pasha's dress was lovely but seemed a safe choice. However, that girl can sew. I think she will win unless Luke can get all his ducks in a row.

Ailsa - loved her tie waistcoat. Her final outfit was ok but a safety pinned fairly simple skirt style would never cut it. I can make that style skirt in my sleep.

Yeah I did think with Ailsa's skirt that should have been easy to get right in terms of 'made to measure' especially as she was mentioning elastic, perhaps the waistcoat occupied her time.

Luke actually did very well, his tie dress was inspired. This was a much better episode. I am looking forward to the final.

can’t lie, I’m gutted not one of them has based their made to measure on the pink Jackie Kennedy suit that Marge keeps reworking in The Simpsons because that would be my immediate choice 😂

It was only a Chanel pattern. Jackie's US dressmaker Chez Ninon put it together. Would have liked to see someone try it though.
