I find myself warming to Lizzie, she is a good baker. And now that she has calmed down a bit, I can notice her dry sense of humour.

Oh Jesus Laura, the hapless wonder. She got such tit for even being alive last year. She bugged the duck out of me

Delighted to see people coming around to Lizzy, I didn't like her at first but then realised she is actually zero bullshit, she just has that god awful accent god help her.

They’re doing it more because when it’s happened accidentally and been funny it’s been in the press/on social media……like everything now it’s not natural anymore, it’s all faked for likes and attention!

...and the judges. I'm over Paul and his cryptic looks and comments, leading questions and overblown handshakes. Also well over Prue rumbling on about things being "worth the calories" and making herself out to be a lush because she likes a bit of booze in a bake.
Noel can stay but Matt is not suited to the job. I think he knows it too.

I wish they'd stop fuelling his ego with all the 'ooh it's so scary when he's watching' and falling over themselves for a bit of praise or, heaven forbid, a handshake (cough Crystelle cough)
He already thinks he's the bloody messiah of baking 🙄

I don't think Prue adds much to the show and she doesn't even really seem to want to be there. Someone earlier suggested Andi Oliver as a judge and I think that's a great shout! Though I suppose shes more of a cook than a baker...

Yes agree! I should have said the presenters! I hate that Extra Slice has made getting a sweaty handshake from Paul such a big deal! His ego is big enough as it is! Yes also agree about Prue pretending to be some kind of lush. Give us a break!

I think Prue overacting about alcohol is a hangover (Soz) from when Mary was there. They’ve just replaced one ‘nice guy’ old white lady who likes a drink with another. Don’t have to change the dynamics or the jokes that way.

I’m usually a fan of Matt but bake off is really making me dislike him. He is not good at this type of job at all.

This serious has shown me how tired I am over Paul, Prue, Noel and Matt. The jokes always fall flat, Prue seems to be a bit distant and Paul is just ridiculous.

Thought Chrystelle’s Showstopper was great. No idea why Georges is still there?

Does anyone know Chigs’ heritage? Is Chigs his nickname?
 
Why do they even need 'presenters?' They could have a witty voiceover commentary or something instead.
I like Noel, I can take or leave Matt.
But do either of them really work well on a baking competition show? I think not.
They aren't very funny on it either so if they insist on having a presenter or two, why not swap them for someone else who is just good at presenting. Do we really need a 'comedy' person?

Maybe Prue's outfits are all the comedy we need.

I think that was me! A judge or presenter I think would suit the show really well. And instead of two hosts maybe just Noel? I know it’s the children’s version but junior bake off works with one host, if you just ignore Harry Hill’s horrendous jokes.
