Prue saying star Baker was only between Chrystalle and Giuseppe was bullshit, considering Jurgen scored high in signature, WON the technical and his show stopper just had a bitta dryness. His pastry was "delicious".

Why was the edit made to look like Giuseppe was second to Chrystalle also?

Chrystalles cronus were rank, guiseppes middle the road.

I have no favourite but just because Jurgen has won a few already, he should not be discounted from more.

It seems like they sometimes don't bother with the other rounds and only make a decision on the showstopper. I think Jurgen overall did best but it gets a bit boring if one person wins star baker all the time. They may as well just give him the cake thingy now. I'm surprised George made it again, especially when giving them Salmonella sausage!

Okay, I've come to the conclusion that George has definite dirt on one of the judges.
Both him and Amanda were terrible, but at least her pie was cooked.

George has literally scraped by EVERY SINGLE WEEK by the skin of his teeth. At this rate, we're going to see him in the final.

Juergen had a great signature, came first in the technical and then it was completely obvious they weren't going to give him star baker again when Paul announced that "Your meat is dry".

They said that star baker was between Giuseppe and Crystelle in the end. I think Giuseppe deserved to get it.

What's the betting that George will STILL be hanging in there next week and then into the quarter final.

I would absolutely do that too to be fair. I hate having my hair up, only do it for running or on really windy days! If I was on telly I’d want it down as that’s when I feel most comfortable/myself but couldn’t for baking.

So do I TBH. My head hurts when my hair is tied back for too long. However, my mum is Goan and I've never heard of either of those curries she did!

She’s irritating AF, always side eyeing the camera and performing 🙄 like the people on love island you could tell were desperate to become a meme.

Chigs, Giuseppe and Jurgen are my final three 🤞🏻 Shocking myself by saying this but Lizzie is actually growing on me too, thought her pie was pretty good as well.

PS The Jurgenator 🥺🥺🥺 we don’t deserve him

at this point I am wondering if George will "Laura" himself into the final! If he does he won't win but Laura got there last year just by being marginally less bad than the worst performer, seeing off several much better bakers...
 
As much as I was thrilled that George got through and Amanda left, because I would really miss his hapless expressions, and I won't miss Amanda at all... I couldn't help but feel like that was the wrong choice- his raw sausage seemed like an instant out. He has definitely scraped through for weeks! But I enjoy watching him. Anyone else think Amanda was fuming when it was announced? She hugged George with a very pissed off expression.

Agree that Jurgen is judged to a higher standard now, he's almost expected to be perfect so any slight upset and he is ruled out for star baker because he has won so often. Crystelle's signature looked awful but it didn't count against her like jurgen's slightly dry pie that looked in all other ways perfect!

Crystelle is very annoying, I did warm to her yesterday but then at the end when she phoned home and acted like she had won the show, it all felt a bit much!
