I thought Lizzie was quite rude when she was like 'why would I be excited about German week' and kept making comments about Jurgen winning and there being no point in her bothering. As others have said, by that logic Lizzie you should have been amazing every other week!

Update: I STILL hate Lizzie. More and more with every passing week actually. She's just incredibly irritating. "Look at me, I'm so quirky" No love, you're really not.

I didn't like her at first, but she is actually supremely observant and clever. Give her a chance. At the end of the day she is just a girl on the telly making cakes.

Nah. We're 5 weeks in now and I'm never going to warm to her.
Other people may be a fan and possibly not like the contestants that I like.

Because I really like talking about baking, and thought that is what a lot of this thread would be.

I think ‘wet knickers’ is a bit much It’s just joshing around. We are talking about the baking - but also the show as a whole - and that involves the contestants. There’s plenty of posts about contestants people don’t like.

Because I really like talking about baking, and thought that is what a lot of this thread would be.

Well it's about the programme more so than just general baking, so the contestants are always going to be discussed and naturally people will have different opinions on different contestants.
You could start a thread about baking in the 'Off Topic' section if you like? I know there are a few bakers on Tattle.
As for other threads discussing who we fancy, there are a few alright Have a look for 'Celebs you fancy even when you shouldn't' and 'hot silver foxes' and @Gym&Tonic's Matt Hancock threads. Oddly enough I seem to feature heavily in all those threads

this is a baking show a nice peaceful baking show where normal people try the best they can to win a cake stand

maybe actually discuss what happens in the show rather than their appearence and personalities

But their personalities are a massive part of the show surely? You don't have to read the thread.
Also win a cake stand? I think they have their eye on a bit more than that these days
