Great British Bake Off 2021

I'd love to see Juergen and Giuseppe in the final. I normally have three favourites every year that I hope will make it to the final, but I'm not sure about a third just yet. Definitely NOT Lizzie, which probably means she'll be in the final.

Lizzie’s grown on me, especially after her straight face story about her pig, couldn’t help but laugh.

I couldn’t get my breath after this.. unbelievable still think she’s annoying but this story - OMG, funny as duck.

I really quite like Maggie lol. I know it's not a popular opinion but she seems so sweet to me. Other than her, Giuseppe and Jurgen I'm not bothered with the others really. Other than Lizzie who is a nightmare, everyone else is just meh.

Same. I've not bothered with it. Especially for Bread Week, Paul becomes an even bigger peacock on Bread Week than normal.

Paul acts like he single handedly created bread.

My elderly relative came around to watch it today with me and went ‘I see that Paul is back to giving out his hand jobs again’
She insists she doesn’t know what that means but it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if she had a secret tattle account, the amount of smut that she comes out with! Someone on the secret celebrity gossip thread mentioned ‘Kieron Haylor's spatchcock chicken pose’ and when Noel said Cristelle’s chicken was spatchcock I was like ‘nooo, tattle!’

Is the brown hair lady called Amanda? I really liked her octopus!

Well, I’ve just caught up and I love bread week. I’m thrilled for the Italian bloke.
I should be supporting Juergen as he’s a fellow Brightonian….but that baby reminded me a bit too much off Fritzeland I can’t get it out of my head.

I also thought Lizzie’s pig slipping on ice story was hilarious yet heartbreaking

I loved this week.

On her Instagram today, Lizzie is claiming that she is "On the ADHD" spectrum.
I hate that on Bake Off now, it seems to be compulsory to have a sob story.
Just get on with the baking Lizzie. That's what you're there for. Same as everyone else.

She hasn't said it on the show, not sure how that could be considered a sob story.

I used to really enjoy Bake off but it feels like a chore watching it now. I hate that I'm not enjoying it and keep watching, hoping I will suddenly find myself not wanting to poke my own eyes out whilst putting cement in my ears. I watch it because my husband enjoys it.
