Black for a theme colour for a summer wedding may not be a common choice. I suppose I would have preferred to see a more summery colour, but I actually like black theme.
And I agree with the comments above, it is nice to see her wear something more flattering and for her target age. I hope I don’t seem judgmental but it is nice to see her dress more like her age.

Sorry to derail the thread lol, I agree with a lot of what's being said about Grace, but I feel like criticising her for living at home, when it's so tough to move out, is a little unfair

I think it’s the way she is at home rather than the living at home, honestly.

Fair enough COVID has limited literally everyone’s prospects and social life, but while I know loads of people her age and older who live back with their parents, none of them seem quite as childish about it as she does.

I really can’t imagine her moving out and living alone, I don’t think she would cope very well. She seems to feed off of human interaction so much. I can see her living with a friend, possibly honor who I think still lives at home too. Which is the complete opposite for me lol, I moved in with my friends when I was 18 for uni and ended up getting my own place after a year, I loved spending time with them but I needed my own space.
 
It was a black and white themed wedding which is why she wore black, but I agree it's not the most obvious choice for a summer wedding! Frances Quinn (previous Bake Off winner and presumably family friend as she got Grace in touch with Kitchen Aid for the blue stand mixer) made Jesse's wedding cake. In a separate note, totally agree about Grace saving up while living at home, though I don't think she's mature enough to move out yet. I'd so love to see her go to New York, even for a little while, stay in an air bnb and live out her dream! She has no ties and it'd be an incredible experience, and she's said it's her dream to do it one day, why not now? She's got a very large audience, do you think she is making good money from YT? I'm not sure how much she'd make as I know she's only recently started sponsorships and got an agent.

didn't she say once that she had planned to go to America (not sure if it was NYC) by herself in the summer of 2020, but then couldn't go because of the pandemic?

Yes I think she did, I feel like she needs to get America out of her system! As someone whose married to an American and youngest daughter is a dual national I can honestly say it ain’t that great here 🤪 but I can see the appeal to her and other people purely looking to travel for a month or so. Healthcare, gun crime, lack of government support for homelessness etc are a huge factor to consider if she was looking to move here permanently!
As a Brit, we are incredibly lucky to be able to travel the world so freely with small costs for visas on arrival/online estas or no visas at all etc. She should utilise her opportunities and go see wherever she wants to before settling down, she also has the fortune to not have to hand in her notice at a job and can pretty much work from her laptop wherever she is in the world. What a great position to be in, lucky girl.

If creepshowart was earning $20K a month from Youtube without sponsorships, it's easy to assume Grace, with her numbers, is earning a bare minimum of £2K a month, easily. She's probably more likely earning over £5K a month

I once watched a video (from Matt does fitness) where he said a good estimation of how much money someone earns is an average of the high and low earnings on social blade, which gives £1.8K a month from adsense alone. I think £5K seems a lot, but I have no idea how much she can earn from sponsorships!

I actually think living in America would really suit her personality and I can see her living there. That said I feel it would be a really long time before she would ever move out of her parents house and I absolutely cannot see her moving that far away from her family at the point where she is now in her life. She is very lucky to be essentially her own employer and getting to live with in her family home and not pay for her own housing, for many her age or even younger that would be a luxury. Lucky girl indeed.

yeh I think moving from living at home to living in a foreign country alone would be a huge leap. If I was her I would go there for an extended holiday (a month or so)

I agree. I don’t think she’s ready just yet to make such a huge leap. I agree with everyone above that visiting the USA and staying there for extended period of time would be a great experience. I think that all those movies and shows that Grace loves romanize NY and other major cities in the USA but obviously they’re not going to show the difficult parts of living there.
If she does move out at one point, perhaps moving a few minutes away from family would be good practice for independence. I don’t know how far London is from where she lives but maybe staying in the outskirts would be a good start.
 
I agree, I think it would suit her perfectly to live close to her family but also a bit closer to London too. I don’t think she lives that far from the city! Although we all know house prices etc so may be a long time which is fine. I don’t know about anyone else but I would love to see her do some travel vlogs that incorporated baking like maybe if her channel grew she could look into getting a job in a patisserie in Paris or something of the sorts. With her baking degree it may be possible, although I don’t know how she would go about it and especially in current circumstances would probably be difficult. She has a unique interest that many Youtuber’s her age don’t seem to have. I enjoy the fact that she doesn’t just do Zara/Superdrug/ASOS etc hauls.

I am not sure, but I think before they lived somewhere like Croydon, which I think now technically is in London but it is quite far out but I think now they have moved futher, albeit it seems like they are in somewhere that people would live and commute to london for work so not insanely far

I think it was Bromley (not a creeper but I have some mutual friends with Jesse so I've been on his Facebook before) but they definitely live further out now

It was, Grace has posted a pic in her old school uniform before and it's recognisable as a Bromley school's. Plus she's always at The Glades
