Do we think her audience is that young? Obviously there are outliers but I feel her audience is mainly people in their early/mid 20s who would not buy merch

lmao i think i would actually wear thisSweatshirts that say HOT WATER?
Judging by her comments section I get the impression that a lot of her viewers are under 18. I really hope she doesn't bring out merch. Perhaps not necessarily in her case but it tends to be a cash grab for Youtubers. What on earth would it even be? Gingham nighties with 'the vibes are immaculate' embroidered? Sweatshirts that say HOT WATER? A set of thirty reusable plastic bottles even though you only need one because they're reusable?
Another thing I'd buy from this brainstorming sessionTshirt with Peak Tong on it anyone?
If she gets merch it will confirm my theory that she goes through phases of copying Taz, especially when they meet.
I agree, also ( i think?) taz is older than Grace but seems even more immature, despite having lived alone. I am getting sick of both of their content tbh, the whole kind of pretending to be stupid I think is ridiculous, imo it almsot just plays up to a specific "female" stereotype, as far as I am aware men don't do this. Sorry I am in a bad mood today so maybe I am reaching but...they both strike me as very clever women so why pretend to be less than that?Taz is another one who I loved at the start and went completely off. Although now I think she's insufferable although I still love Grace as a person lol.
i got that impression from Taz sometimes back when i still watched her, but never from Grace? do you have an example in mind of grace doing this?Sorry I am in a bad mood today so maybe I am reaching but...they both strike me as very clever women so why pretend to be less than that?

I agree, one thing that started to really irritate me with Taz was how much she hyped up her social anxiety then started lone travelling all over the world with seemingly no difficulties. Just made her seem so fake to me.
I understand this though. I can travel on trains, buses, airplanes etc without no panic. But as soon as I’m in a social situation where I have to spend more than 5 minutes talking to someone I panic and overthink. Travelling doesn’t normally require long conversations, so does buying something in a shop. It’s just ‘hello’, ‘please’ and ’thank you’ and then walk away and never meet that person again. Plus within a day, you would have forgotten what they look like. But social situations such as at University, night clubs and sports require more effort and there’s a chance that you’ll meet that person again and remember them.
Hey! I'm a fellow BritMerican Spouse and we can't wait to go back to the UK!! I got 'stuck' in the US because of the pandemic..I agree with all of your sentiments here. I'm not blessed with kids yet but know for sure that I wouldn't want to bring them up in the US...Yes I think she did, I feel like she needs to get America out of her system! As someone whose married to an American and youngest daughter is a dual national I can honestly say it ain’t that great here but I can see the appeal to her and other people purely looking to travel for a month or so. Healthcare, gun crime, lack of government support for homelessness etc are a huge factor to consider if she was looking to move here permanently!
As a Brit, we are incredibly lucky to be able to travel the world so freely with small costs for visas on arrival/online estas or no visas at all etc. She should utilise her opportunities and go see wherever she wants to before settling down, she also has the fortune to not have to hand in her notice at a job and can pretty much work from her laptop wherever she is in the world. What a great position to be in, lucky girl.
year 2 would be really late even for someone dyslexic. my sister is and she still learned by the ages of 4/5 just with spelling issues and sometimes writing backwards lol. year two is age 7. She is younger than my sister so there is no way she wouldn;t have been diagnosed, especially at a private school.Grace mentioned in her Wendy's vlog that she thinks she's dyslexic but it was never assessed for it and didn't learn to read and write until year 2 (I'm not British so I don't know what age that is but I assume it's older than usual).
With her parents both being teachers, I wonder why they chose not to have her assessed for dyslexia? She may have gotten better supports in school if she had a diagnosis. Just seems weird to me that they didn't look into it.
