Yet another TALA job vacancy description with no salary given, just says 'competitive salary', when Greg has previously said the below (bottom of third paragraph). Self awareness of a tadpole. Actually that's harsh, on tadpoles.

I see she is promoting that head of social role again. Wonder if the lack of salary and application requirements are impacting the number of quality CVs they are receiving.

I find that “spend no longer than 30mins on the following” so absolutely ridiculous. So you set a timer and do what you can in 30 minutes, then the next applicant ignores this time suggestion and spends 5 hours getting it “perfect”. How do you police this? And to echo what has been said before, don’t give away work for free in the first stage of a job application. A CV and a succinct cover letter addressing perhaps a couple of key selection criteria is sufficient. Maybe with a request for some examples of previous work. That’s it. I don’t work directly in creative roles but I’d never have someone do work for the company unless they were the preferred candidate to cement the decision.

Definitely this, there's no way you should be giving away ideas that you then have no control over and can be used even if you don't get the job

Suggesting 30 mins is ridiculous for that task.

So rich coming from her who’s never had a job
i think we’re being a tad unfair to grace rn. does no one remember the time she had to scrape together her last coppers to produce a revolutionary e book to pay her university fees in 6 seconds?!?! unconventional employment is STILL employment guys! diversity matters, even in multi millionaire inheritance lines 🫶🏻

Hi. I've just popped on here to say I had never heard of this person until I listened to the new episode of The Receipts today (a podcast I usually love)- and she's their guest this week. And it's actually sending me to sleep I'm so bored

Sorry, need to add on - we get it, you're a #bossbabe, you're a very smart business lady, shattering the glass ceilings, you're a girl and you're doing big business things. Pls can you stop banging on about hedge fund management and investment on a podcast that is meant to be fun. Honestly chaps I feel robbed

lol welcome to the hideous world of our dear greg begerley. She is truly awful, hypocritical, and entirely up her own arse 💕

Oh my god I skipped to a random part and Tolly asked her directly (but politely) if she was brought up with money and Grace stutters and squirms and says "my family... it's a little bit complicated but yes I come from a very privileged background", and Tolly laughs at her and calls her out for being shy about it and says it's fine to just say you were rich 😂

If your answer to being asked if you were rich growing up is "it's complicated" then yeah you were rich.

I haven't listened to this yet because, unlike Grace, I have a real job and can't predict to the minute how long each task will take me !! And then boss babe my way out of the tasks I do have as they are all non-negotiable in a real job - but lol did she mention how she almost couldn't pay for university? the poor thing, she's like a character from a dickensian novel.

The majority of her day is basically writing lists and "planning" rather than actual work let's be honest

She didn't tell them her favourite sob story that she was about to get kicked out of Oxford because she couldn't pay her tuition fees and that's definitely because she knew they'd pick that apart in seconds.

Hilariously at one point she claims that she isn't considered successful by anyone in her cohort at Oxford because it isn't the "type" of success that's celebrated. a) I can promise her that nobody in her cohort is thinking about her and b) she's rich, white, privately educated, went to Oxford then set up a business - if that isn't typical Oxford success I don't know what is. I don't know why she's always trying to portray herself as an underdog and that everyone at Oxford was willing her to fail. I think she just rubbed people the wrong way, didn't have many friends as a result, and is now blaming that on everyone at Oxford being snobby about her 'success'.

so doing a music degree just to say you’ve been to oxford isn’t the way to receive academic or business brownie points?! who knew!
And you get given a masters degree after 6 years as a way institutions like this keep the wealthy privileged masses ahead- any way they can!!! Guess who applied for this and got one.

I hate the way that her ‘podcast’ is just a way for her to talk more about herself under the guise of conversation with a guest. I watch many podcasts on YouTube and I’ve never seen any host talk as much as she does. It’s like she just uses the guests as springboards to talk about herself when the point of being a host is to let the guest speak…why cant she do anything right at all?
