"There are more and more content creators I can't compete with, who my audience are turning to, turned off by the fact I'm a boring sham with no idea/morals/integrity/fashion sense "running" business after business that does not deliver. I think it’s the total number of followers the people who have signed up have across, I assume, multiple platforms. Note, it’s not unique followers, so there will be a significant chunk of double counting, both in terms of the same person following the same creator on multiple platforms, and the same person following multiple creators. I also assume it doesn’t discount all those influencers who purchase their followers. IDK 20 million sounds like a lot, but in another sense, it’s also just 20 gregs
No idea what those percentages mean though, maybe what platform the referrals are being shared on?thisisntreal

I'm not a massive fan of that woman who criticises the job posts on TikTok - if you watch her often enough she basically wants to do sweet FA with unlimited time off and get a big wedge from it which I think encourages people to ask for unreasonable stuff, get turned down and ultimately they get burned. HOWEVER - this is the second time she's called Greg out, and I'm seeing her point, this seems toxic at best. Nothing wrong with having a good work ethic but handing over your ideas up front seems sketch.
The ai thing, did anyone see the video where she's says to the two 'co-founders' "you guys could be frauds" I was SHOOK - who says that to a cofounder in a promotional thing, that should have very much stayed an inside joke. SO unprofessional

I’d love to see what their Retrograde Co-pilot looks like on the brand side. Yes, it might make creator’s lives easier, but if I worked in influencer marketing and someone had a crappy AI negotiating with me via email I’d drop them so fast. No point saving money on talent agent fees if it means you get way less brand deals.

Hard agree yes. I am a brand marketing manager but we don't use influencers for various reasons ( nature of the product and demographic i go after means it feels fake/insincere and doesn't resonate with our audience!) but if I did... How is AI going to help ME? I want to work with someone who is passionate about my brand, they need to be able to show (fake) that in our initial discussions

This new company is clearly just another quick money making business.
they created it because giving away 20% to most creators is unreasonable, so instead they will use AI (probably not very well because it’s not advanced enough yet) and take 10% from every brand deal every creator that uses their product gets.
why would you have an actual talent manager who will go out and help you get brand deals and advocate for you, when you can save 10% and get none of that support

Thought this might be a joke/click bait, but watching the rest of her stories from yesterday, she did in fact leave the house like this.
