Frequently - I’ve listened to a handful of podcasts she features on where she talks about her addiction to sleeping pills, other drugs, alcohol at one point although she said she went into rehab, gave up drinking but now does drink very much in moderation, ie couple of beers a week but can manage it.

Ah I feel that has passed me by- I don't Gizzi on social media now just occasionally go and have a look. I'd heard about ADHD and mental health problems on podcasts but not addiction. Are there any eps people would say are worth a listen?

they get very repetitive as she tends to tell the same story bit Bryony Gordon’s mad world episode with her was one that was a bit if I remember rightly.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people who have done bits of telly in the past really struggle when it comes to making their own content. It’s a totally different game to TV and radio- there are no directors, producers, stylists, crew etc etc to get the best out of them so they really flounder on social content.

It will be interesting to see how this differs from Mere Street Market. I actually had a booking for The Nitery but it was cancelled due to covid. I think her food looks really good but she’s definitely lost her way and struggles to be able to turn her talents into any profitable business.
