Max is surrounded by some pretty toxic people, eager to claim his success as theirs, his dad, his weird girlfriend.... but Horner has never (to my knowledge) done that. He firmly places the praise at Max's feet, as it should be ❤

i’m not a huge horner fan but i do really like how paternal he is with max (and how he was with seb too). like you said, he always makes sure that the praise is his and he always comes across as so genuinely proud of him.

If I remember correctly, she has at least at one point referred to herself as his lucky charm previously this season. Also pretty confident she has reposted others’ insta stories of her/Max which have referred to her as his lucky charm. I think what people are reacting at today is the excessive amounts of reposts she’s made ultimately congratulating her on Max’s title, as if some of the credit for it belongs to her
