I thought this too! I assumed it would have been due to the rollercoaster of emotions he had gone through.. I bet in the space of 5 mins he went from flying home without Max and to loving him 10000% and Max being the best thing since sliced bread (obvs all down to Jos the Boss ofc)

honestly I'm worried about the validation Max's win has given both Jos and Max. Its like saying see, all of that was worth it. like especially to Max. If Max and Kelly have a kid interested in racing, I forsee some hard lessons continuing
