It really fucks me off when pundits can’t pronounce players names. Paul Merson used to be the worst for it. I remember one Saturday last season he was covering a Palace game and kept calling Mateta “Matea”. He did it about 5-6 times until he corrected himself. I get some names can be hard to pronounce but if that’s your job you’d make a point of learning the names beforehand no?

Especially as the players do that video saying their own names just for that

He usually gets Clinton to pronounce them for him 🤣
 
I'm sorry but that penalty Southampton were given happened outside the box. The explanation somehow makes it worse as Michael Oliver deemed that there was no conclusive evidence that the contact happened outside the penalty area err have you not seen the first picture Michael which clearly shows that the tackle happened outside the box.

I reckon it should have been a free kick as well but Michael Oliver who is known to give debatable decisions against Liverpool does so again. I see last year he was paid £3,000 and given business-class flights when he travelled to Saudi Arabia to referee Al-Nassr vs Al-Hilal last year which surely is a conflict of interests. I mean from the second angle you can clearly see the tackle has happened just outside the box.
