Due to the fact quotas and fan ownership are still very much on the table it’s very much in every PL club’s owners interest for England to do as well as possible at the Euro‘s and next year’s World Cup even if they don’t actually think it is.

BREAKING: Manchester City are close to signing Jack Grealish for around £100m.

Jack’s Dad has a comfortable friendship with talk sport so I reckon he’s the ‘source’

Ok so I can tolerate him I think his impact on the team could be immediate, it’s that door mat he leads on that I can’t tolerate.

So City get Jack (apparently) and United get Sancho (surely this year they will its be going for over a year)!
So does that mean City won't but Kane?
The transfer circle starts now

Well if Pep is watching the euros I imagine he would be a bit concerned with the fact that Kane doesn’t seem to be able to link up with Sterling, Foden or their potential new boy in Grealish.

I can't see fan ownership happening. Quotas won't happen either as the Premier League make their own rules. It's not that long ago that Boris was trying to persuade them to allow the Newcastle takeover go through.

The Super League was a temporary fiasco and the political will to do anything ended when that ended. The big clubs got what they wanted with the new ridiculous Champions League format and the removal of away goals.

Interesting to see how Grealish copes with having to press under Pep. He doesn't seem like someone who will adapt well to his methods.

That move has been in the pipeline for months, byeee Jack 👋🏼 funny how the a lot of the fans who think he wouldn’t leave, are also the ones who think he’s an Angel!

Genuinely cannot see Jack leaving Villa yet. I think another season and he might do but I think he wants to be part of the clubs development and growth.
If he does though, cannot blame him at all.

No disrespect towards Aston Villa but the club really has nothing to offer Jack apart from his childhood love of the club surly it’s time for him to cut the cord, I’m a Man City fan I’m on the fence about Jack joining but I would never deny his talent surly a player of his calibre should want more than a man of the match award.

Nooooooo please nooo

Okay I have finally all caught up with the thread. The people who are complaining about the tea or lack of tea should stop lurking and start posting if it is such an issue. Until then move to the damn left.

I guess in terms of gossip it'll be interesting ( to those who find Jack and his doormat interesting) to see what happens if he does move to Man City. Will she move up with him? Will he finally admit he's in a long term relationship? (I know the papers picked up on her a few days ago but they have before and nothing's happened for her). If MC are forking out 1 hundred mil for him isn't it about time he grew up and kept it in his pants? The press would be more interested in him than they are now if he's going to be he most expensive British player.

See I think they do. The owners are the third richest in the PL, they don't need to sell him unlike some other clubs. If he stays, the team is built around him and he becomes a Villa legend. I think the investment the owners are putting into Villa shows they are serious about pushing for Europe and I do think he wants to be a part of that.
As I say, if he goes then good for him though.

Villa might not need to sell but anyone can see he’s itching for a bigger challenge he wants the medals to go with his talent, if he doesn’t move on from this love affair he has with Villa he will just be known as Jack Grealish the one man club who possibly might have nothing to show for his loyalty. Oh and let’s not forget he likes the owners daughter.

Mmmmm, let's just agree to disagree 🙂

No one in the slightest is bothered about football owners especially when the club is winning constantly, so Villa might have the nicest most pleasant 3rd richest owners but the fans would flip on them if they circled that relegation plug hole again, I’m not arsed if tit hair cut comes to city or stays at villa but he is wasted at Villa.
