Surely he’s fulfilled his dream of playing for his boyhood club now and bigger and better things await him. He’s 25 (?) so not as if he’s just starting out so if I was him/ villa I would absolutely cash in BUT didn’t city bid 100 mil for Kane a few days ago. Would they really bid the same for him in the same week (genuinely don’t know enough about their finances to know the answer to that)

I agree with this, he’ll do what Rooney did. I heard Kane is playing tit to run his price down so Tottenham will be more willing to get rid.

Honestly who knows?

that’s a lot of ££££, kane’s transfer price will drop if he doesn’t perform better, we’ll see what happens on the 29th🤭

No one in the slightest is bothered about football owners especially when the club is winning constantly, so Villa might have the nicest most pleasant 3rd richest owners but the fans would flip on them if they circled that relegation plug hole again, I’m not arsed if tit hair cut comes to city or stays at villa but he is wasted at Villa.
Like pretty any much club’s fans do, some people care when their club owner’s money came from, all I know is if Man City buy all the top players (and they will) the league becomes boring AF and predictable.

They have been doing that since 2008 though. The league is more competitive at the moment than it has been in a long time. No other top league in Europe has as many title winners in the last 10 years than England.

Look at United spending mega money constantly but winning little post-Ferguson.

Yup and it’s getting more and more predictable every season bar Leicester winning and who will be relegated

knowing city they'll buy both lol oh what i'd have to have owners who just buy players. Not haggle over a few million
Yep just get who they want.
Will be surprised in 1 way if JG went to City seems how much Villa mean to him but at same time all players want to win trophies and titles so not saying Villa cannot but mainly only 3 or 4 teams can.

That’s a big flaw with the fan ownership model of German football. The bundesliga is not massively competitive. Bayern have won it 9 seasons on the trot and have a considerably larger income than the rest of the clubs allowing that dominant position to continue.

yes! bayern is unbeatable when it comes to bundesliga, i have been to many matches, and it’s always great to watch them play. borussia dortmund has a lot of good young talents, i think they still haven’t really “peaked”(comparing to bayern) they have a lot of potential and are deffo the ones to watch out for in the future, but to me they will never be like bayern. eintracht frankfurt is meh, okay players. other clubs are okay, nothing special

Dortmund seem to always Lose their best players to Bayern or clubs in the other big four leagues.

I actually think that model would work well here in England. The reason why it doesn't work as well in Germany is because Bayern have pretty much always been the biggest club in the country. They have accumulated more silverware compared to other clubs and in consequence more money. Here in England, I think it will work better because we have several clubs with good history and good success. The gap wouldn't be as big.

to me(my opinion) all of the clubs in england are on the same level, they all have equally good players, it just depends on the season and their luck lol

I think it would help Man U and Liverpool more than Man City and Chelsea because the former clubs have bigger fan bases and more potential merchandising and image rights, Bayern‘s income is increased significantly by being able to get money from those sources

Plus the American owners feel to me more likely to consider being minority owners at least for a transition period - a Sudden switch would surely bankrupt at least one of the big clubs because they all racked with debt and that would all have to be repaid Somehow.

Dortmund have always been a selling club. They are called the wonderkid factory for a reason. They recruit world’s best young players, nurture them to be world-class players and eventually top teams will cash in money for these players. Just see the amount of money they got for Pulisic, Ousmane Dembele and the likes of Sancho, Haaland and Jude Bellingham will worth a lot more now
