Seeing the ruby slippers sell for so much money is bittersweet in light of all this Wicked hype. Those shoes (or multiple pairs of), were responsible for so much heartache and trauma but also joy for individuals and generations alike.

I completely understand how the musical captures people, there must be something about the essence of the story since the book and the film were/are both so popular. But this media frenzy just seems so contrived, they seem so contrived, the fact that they split it in 2 for £££, it’s taken the joy out of the whole thing.

Have you tried Freda’s ? I’m particularly fond of the plenty of black pepper and sea salt one 🤤

Yes, we found it in a posh shop in Alnmouth. Miles away from Cornwall obviously. We had the fruit and spice because we love fruity spicy things.

(I’ve just been on their website- they have big jars!!! Omg a big jar of fruit and spice 😊)

I bought 6 jars of pip and nut in lockdown and we still haven't got through all of it. And it's way past its best before, although I had some on toast for dinner, and it was fine.
That Cornish one sounds pretty good, I might have a cupboard clear out and get some ordered up.

I don't think I can do Wicked because of those two fannies and their worrying behaviour. I like Ariana on her own but put those two together in a press junket and I feel uneasy, which is not the way to sell a film, marketing people.

Oh that Freda’s peanut butter sounds amazing. I’ll look that up.
Pip & Nut sweet and salty crunchy for me - love the stuff. Usually have a jar of the smooth one in too, but I’m not sure why as the crunchy one is my go-to and Mr Laz never really eats it.

ZB, last year M&S done a winter spiced PB at Christmas. I bought some for 50p a jar in January with a long-ish date on. It was quite nice.

OMG, Freda’s do a coconut one; I bet that’s delicious too. As well as the POBP one 🤤

The coconut one is almost as nice as the black pepper one imo. The chipotle one is lush too. The only flavour I wasn’t too keen on is the chocolate and vanilla one as it was a bit too sweet for me

bleeping hell its Mamma Mia all over again, isn’t it?

I enjoyed Wicked, it’s a great musical. It was also long enough as a musical.

I prefer musicals on stage to on screen, but I certainly don't hate movie musicals. I just get a strong feeling that Wicked isn't worth getting cramp in my arse for.

Apparently Adrien Brody's new film The Brutalist is well over 3 hours long. It'd better be good.

I hate musicals. However, I realised the other day that despite saying I hate them for years, Bugsy Malone is indeed a musical and the exception. I remember watching it as a kid and thinking Jodie Foster was the most beautiful girl I’d ever seen.
I love the wizard of oz books, but I’ve never watched wicked and never will if it’s that bloody long!! My bum goes numb. I am
Not used to sitting down for so long

My letters go to mental health team as DWP safe place. They are not passing them on as wellbeing services (social services to everyone else) aren’t there anymore. They told DWP not risk, I’m better can sort my own benefits and tried to change address but there is risk. I lost pip and got charged with fraud as a result as wellbeing worker got prosecuted under GDPR for trying to change address without my consent and pissed off reported me for fraud.

I cannot access mental health team and cannot have letters where I live due to neighbour.

So yes they could have.

Ive no birth certificate DWP will accept as it needs to be full and my parents aren’t my parents. Cant ring DWP as can through questions and theres no address anymore. No passport, no Dr. I’m losing phone access 31/12 as well as 3G being switched off can’t afford 4G and no signal anyway.

Hencd terrified. UC wont work on this device either.

No way I can apply by then. Jobcentre isn’t plus anymore so we must all travel 90 minutes away driving to prove identity, I can’t manage transport anymore for two minutes never mind 90!
Can you access welfare rights? You need someone on your side and my apologies if I asked already. My memory at the moment is atrocious
