I’m going out for Pho tonight! Very excited.

Becca - very thoughtful of you to ask but I don’t think any of us have an issue with people of faith. We should all just accept each other and get along, right? Is there anyone at your local church who can advocate for you? I know our local CofE has a debt charity that works with anyone and acts as a go between.

Yes we should, and we should in church too. Sadly not the reality. Glad it’s ok. I won’t be bible bashing, aside from anything else it’s literally held together with sellotape, gaffer tape and elastic bands. I took it to Bible study years ago and the vicar nodded and said it was nice to see, apparently a lot of people have them but don’t read them 🙄

So the baileys is the thick type. Might need a bit of water for the cereal.

I couldn’t buy the baileys cream without being IDd but could buy liqueur chocs that were really well filled with whisky and all sorts in And definitely had an effect. Weird.

Well the storm that was to have passed by 12 is now continuing into tomorrow until at least 12.
Intermittent power outages expected all day tomorrow as well.

Why the hell is it so bloody calm everywhere else? I follow three costal, webcams and it’s choppy. Two out of three of our roads are now impassable. Social media still full of people whining … Was I the only one who knew about this storm?!?

I need my tablets tomorrow. No pharmacies open today. None...
Maybe I should just have the baileys. I can have that with cereal right? RIGHT?!
It’s not calm with me Becca ❤️

I came over to tattle because most forum's ended up confrontational . That's not for me. I just want to chat . tit normally, soz. Lol 😂
Religious beliefs, sexual orientation, race. Nowt to do with me in anyway in life.
Only got my one turn at life and I'm gonna do my best to do it with chill.

It's been really windy here all day, and rainy on and off. I've only been outside to go to Tesco, I've done a wardrobe sort out today and feel good about it. More Vinted-ing to do if there's a decent stretch of daylight tomorrow.

I think I'm going to start watching The Sticky on Prime later. I remember when the story about the maple syrup adjacent thievery was in the news.

Take care chaps, fingers crossed for those in the front line
I can’t imagine what it’s like in other parts of the country which are taking the brunt of it, but where I am in Liverpool (I’m not too far from the beach) it’s very, very stormy.
I went out today for a prearranged appointment and saw someone pushing their pram and it got knocked to its side.
Some of our old roof slates are lying in the back yard. It’s going to be a joy trying to get someone out to fix it at this time of year…

Jury awards $300m payout to family of teen who died on Orlando ride https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ckg80jrj2r2o

Just catching up on the news on my way into town on this awful night - time for a haircut. Just read this story; there is no amount of money can replace a child who has died but $300mn +

I can't remember when the big hurricane that hit us was. I think 87. I'm getting up, ready for school.
News is showing destruction to the whole of the UK.
Sevenoaks became one oak. The whole country was in shock.
My mum, you can still go to school
I walked up the road over bits of roofs, trees and telegraph poles. Actually got the bus 3 miles to school . Then traversed the same walk to my battered school. Sat in the canteen for 4 hours then sent home. Thanks mum, rip .

Yes, here in midlands it's the later part (northerly winds around 2pm onwards) that were really howling- gusts to 60mph apparently. It took down neighbour's fence and one side of my shed is flapping. Still windy now but not quite as bad.
I think it was worse in Ireland and Wales though :(
