I wonder if the airline has a policy about passengers filming the crew and/or other passengers without their consent? Inside a plane cabin isn't a public place and he is in effect using those other people's images for his own commercial gain because it's a monetised account.

Even if there's no policy against it, it's just basic courtesy and respect to not post pictures/videos of recognisable people in private spaces.
 
Privacy in public is a really interesting subject anyway, yes FOD is total scum but does anyone else feel like this is an increasingly public problem? We’ve come out to our nearest city centre today and walked past two ppl (nitties for lack of a better word) being moved on by security and realised we were walking through kids filming, so said that’ll be for tiktok ffs. There are just SO many young people filming constantly it’s inevitable if you dare set out your front door it’ll be captured on film. It feels really tit and makes me not want to go out shopping even moreso!

Yep. There’s a Tiktok doing the rounds at the minute of a woman who set up a tripod to film herself at a baseball game in the US. A couple of girls in the background mouthed ‘lame’ at her and gave her the finger so the girl who was filming has made a sad video about how it’s ruined her confidence etc etc and the background girls have been dragged all over Twitter and Tiktok! I’m with them tbh. The sheer narcissism of filming yourself in an everyday situation and expecting everyone else to be background characters is off the bleeping charts these days. duck off and put your phone away for just one sodding second. You’re not in your own reality show, you sad little twerps.
 
I hate the constant filming by some people wherever they want. I do parkrun every Saturday and there’s always people there filming the runners and volunteers and the route. I’m fat, slow and look like tit so early on a Saturday. I don’t want to be on their socials but it’s a public place and no-one ever asks if it’s ok.
 
Same for me who started pole dancing classes and was horrified to see that everyone is filming themselves (with me inevitably in the background). Like first of all this is a beginner class just calm down Janet , second of all I don't want to be on anyone Instagrams story half naked looking like a duck trying to fly. This is definitely a problem with the younger generation (and the 40 years old desperate FOD)
 
Not fair at all on the flight attendant, never mind other passengers.

Does anyone else see the ads that FOD does for the children’s newspaper pop up on their social media? I saw one on Facebook today and someone has commented with a link to the MoD hearing. Good to see he continues to attract such good publicity for his advertising partners.
 
My boss asked me to do a 30 second video of myself for a team exercise and I couldn’t do it. I had to get my partner to do it (and still didn’t like it then) just felt like a massive twit talking to my phone, I really don’t get how these insta wankers do it….and why they don’t realise that nobody even cares!!!!

I bet the people on the plane were cringing for him. And the people at the airport. And the people at the race check in. And so on…
