Fabulous Pharmacist - Laura Dowling

So, she has me blocked because I asked a question

But just re this adhd. To me this would make Julian Tudor-Hart wonder. What adverse affect did this condition have on her? Is seeking diagnosis and possibly treatment simply diverting resources from those in need of healthcare. She’s a reasonably successful instagrammer and seemed to be ok in a moderately professional role. She has raised a family and allegedly has half a mill in pension this year (seems very odd to me, I’ve extensive experience including CFA qualification and would make absolutely no sense from a tax perspective to throw that amount of cash into pension - unless mortgage paid off etc, even then…)

im genuinely baffled as to why she would think a diagnosis would make a difference to her, maybe I’m wrong but compared to the average person, it wouldn’t seem to have had a significant adverse impact on her academic abilities, commercial acumen or physical aptitude. Nor her ability to sell ludicrously overpriced ‘supplements’ that she knows (or should know) do damn all other than lighten the pockets of the customers and fill her pockets.
You've articulated exactly what I've been thinking. She managed to qualify with a degree in pharmacy, has been working 20 years in community pharmacy which can be very demanding and a role that needs focus/attention to detail. I'm sure she was also doing rosters, cash & bank stuff, lots of retail management tasks - again a lot of multitasking as well as being a mother to 3 young kids. As you say, what was the trigger to seek a diagnosis? I'd hazard a guess at it being mainly an attention-seeking strategy and to drive more engagement for her business. Will her next magic supplement help with the symptoms of female ADHD?! Nothing surprises me anymore with these grifters.

Would she not be doing it to avoid tax on the companies profits? That plus the restrictions came in in November to cap the pension at the directors salary

Lads, she is tights as a ducks hole. The food they eat!! I’m still not over the spuds with the green bits growing out of them and she just cut those bits off and didn’t peel them. You just know every penny is a prisoner.

Sorry now I'm going to come across like a princess but if my boiler wasn't going to be fixed for another WEEK in these temperatures I'd be in an Airbnb. What is she doing with that one useless borrowed radiator 🙈🙈

Same. Lidl have lovely heaters at the moment, about €50 - a couple of hundred quid would sort her out and that’s only the price 4 or 5 of her jars of magic beans! No reason to be going around looking like Ebeneezer Scrooge when you’re bleeping loaded.
