Fabulous Pharmacist - Laura Dowling

She’s from 1980 - 44 years old. Three boys. Botox works of course, but most of those treatments have poor scientific evidence or fully aesthetic company sponsored.

Or it works temporarily as the face swells, but long term difference is none or tiny for that price. I got IPL done in that place and it actually damaged my skin.
Oh my god are you serious? I was going to have IPL there next week but I’m doubting it now! Do you mind me asking what happened to your skin from it?

I don’t want to derail the thread - I’m sure you will be fine - I checked the website and that nurse is gone. My first 3 sessions there with Sharon were amazing. Fourth one - the form said no exercise after the treatment. Nothing about before the treatment (they told me they would update it after I complained) So I cycled in planning to walk home after the treatment on a hot summer’s day. So my skin was already heated up when a different nurse started the treatment. She refused to stop while I was in absolute agony. She went very fast too without stopping unlike Sharon previously. The homework she gave me was to put frozen peas on my face after getting home. I had severe blistering and now have a few tiny scars left that don’t bother me really after all these years but I still have a minor bump/swollen area on my right upper cheek. No idea what it is, but it is linked to that session as I have it since then.

I have since gotten secret pro and bll hero elsewhere so it didn’t turn me off completely. Keep the appointment please, in particular as that nurse is gone. My skin being overheated from the onset is the likely cause, but she should have checked how my skin responded/reduced settings which she didn’t. It was horrendous, like a hot iron type pain during the treatment. I tolerated the first 3 treatment sessions very well, they didn’t bother me the slightest. It took me a while to get over that last session emotionally to be honest- I even had nightmares about it.
