Did Ted just say that Perez is out?!?
Ocon, now Perez. At what point is Ted gonna tell us Lewis is out and Kimi is making his debut?Did Ted just say that Perez is out?!?
yep! i get that people don’t like max but i don’t think anyone could argue that he isn’t honest or isn’t afraid to express his viewpoint. he’s usually very consistent too so i would get that george apparently NOT being consistent winds him up.
i really want to know what’s happened though as (like in the clip bla’s posted above) he’s very obviously talking ABOUT an exact incident without giving much detail and is clearly really annoyed about it.
(look at those two adorable work colleagues who STILL DO NOT FOLLOW EACH OTHER ON INSTAGRAM. charles even tagged max in his photo last week, hit the follow button mate they drive me crazy)
we also can‘t forget that George is one of the driver bit president, so maybe they clashed during the meetings & bits before
but think max is pretty right in the George characterization
he’s elaborated a bit more as the conference has gone on but it seems to be about george’s role in him getting that grid penalty and how george played it (which i guess also comes into gp making that “karma” comment on the radio if they think george overstepped the line). i need more details!

I can totally imagine George fighting passionately for nothing to the extent of crossing the line because he was angry he did not get the pole after Vegas skyrocketed his confidence over the roof.
He is good at arguing but he has a tendency to be overconfident and patronising. He might reflect Toto who is bitter about Lewis leaving and still praises him to show a polite face but at the same time you can see bitterness that sometimes shows as a dig towards Lewis like that shelf life comment that he tried to take back
As I said, I do not love Max, he is not an angel and he can be a bully on track, but he is predictable and consistent and doesn't care about being seen as a good boy only and that is what I actually appreciate.
What about Daniel and Logan? They may need two tables for the numbers and to keep warring factions apartSo the big question - will there be a driver dinner and if, is Estie & Jack invited and how far apart are max and George placed at the long table?

Damn George, i wonder how he is not floating around with a head and ankles that big
as i have always said about george, he has the rosberg gene! the vibe is there! he’s got amazing media training but every so often you see (like you say) a little comment or incident where you can see it. and i absolutely agree that, to the other drivers, he probably can come across as patronising sometimes. lewis for one never appears to have fully vibed with him.
he and max are two personalities that seem destined to clash so i’m just amazed it hasn’t happened before. i know all the drivers tell on each other or go on the radio to report stuff and we joke about how george does it but i wonder what exactly he did where max thinks he’s crossed the line (taking into account that max very rarely thinks he’s in the wrong )
It will be an interesting read
he went in even more on him too in the same interview
Go Max! I’m sure George is shady AF!
