Allegedly, George's words about Lewis were in reponse to him being asked about Kimi and he gave it as an example that you never know what younger driver can do. I will have to find a whole full quote for the context to make sure
After few hours that did not change my mind about how stupid this race was (and I totally don't agree with f1tv that it was "entertaining"), coming back FIA stupidity in general and also to Max vs George thing, I think the season is too long, everyone there is tired and had enough of eachother so probably everyone, including journalists is exagerrating a bit. However, this off track tea is more interesting than the race was tbh because I don't remember Max being as mad at someone as he is at George. On the other hand, Max does not like to be called out for his "tricks", or however we call them, so his anger might be a delayed one from earlier about being finally punished in Mexico for sth he had gotten away with earlier ( I am 100% sure George was active in drivers' discussions about it, maybe he had a power point about pushing people off track ) Also the paddock it too friendly happy go lucky family lately, everyone loves eachother and makes up immediately like Carlos and Charles, even Baguettes made up etc so every conflict seems attractive in a way to make it bigger
Anyway, I am trying to have any enthusiasm for the last race, but my favourite things about George and Max thing from my update a second ago:
- Horner called George's behaviour "hysteria" and as much as I don't trust Horner's judgment, I wonder really what George did to make him think of that word exactly

This one is killing me

He is a snide twit at times and he really needs to check himself about what he's saying about Lewis, but I do still love George most of the time.
