I think they can put him in as many fp1 as they want, as long as both George and Lewis let their car for at least one session each. Bearman is supposed to do 6 fp1 with haas this year for example.

they def can if you look at Ollie at Haas!! Just the question if George or Lewis are contracted to give up more then the one session required or not
Think Lewis is only hanging around as he wants that 8th title and thinks he still has a chance

this is it. i don’t know if he ever had a chance to love anything else (and in terms of winning, this is a kid who used to keep his helmet on if he didn’t come first because he was scared of jos and, of course, got left at gas stations when he lost).

i think his whole relationship with racing in general is extremely complicated for that reason and, in rb he found some kind of acceptance or at least trust and patience that jos didn’t have (i think it’s just obvious now that horner has never liked jos and the feeling is mutual). horner then, in max’s eyes, has betrayed that AND adrian is leaving.

the racing he seems to love on his own terms is obviously the sim stuff so maybe he will just pack in all in and focus on that. i know he’s not popular but i find him a bit of a sad character sometimes. i hope he finds a place somewhere that’s just his!

I think Toto is prepared to duck anyone right now who would get in the way of Kimi succeeding. I think both George and Lewis would not want to give up FP1 sessions they don't have to, but wouldn't be surprised if they did have to give up more. Especially Lewis since he is leaving and Toto has already basically decided he is the evil ex he doesn't care about anymore.

It’s an interesting psychology as do they make Lewis give them up as he’s leaving but because he is he can be more resistant and make it uncomfortable or do they make George give them up because he is staying and therefore he can’t piss them off too much as he’s in a shoot out against Kimi for 2026 and wants be seen as a team player and supportive team mate

the fact that George was the first to give it up, at a track that every driver wanting to get as many minutes on as possible, is a clear showcase who has the better contract and possible still standing and can easily say no - hint it’s not George

I think he also has (or is building) his own GT team so i wouldn't be surprised if he ended here just to have some fun but without all the pressure of F1.

i hope so tbh. i have a huge soft spot for him (don’t @ me 🤣) and i feel like going to formula 1 was almost decided for him when he was a kid. if/when he ends his career there i’d like him to go into something he genuinely enjoys. you can see how much freer and more relaxed he is with his sim team for one.

He saw Lando's pics from this summer, last week and in the paddock this week and was like "i need to step up my game to remind them who is the boss in the shirtless department" 😂

Tbh my ick for Horner is so big and as much as I am enjoying rb's downfall and the end of max's winning streak, I am ready to join the trip to save Maxie from RB (with strict conditions: sans his dad, cuts ties with the piquets, with a guarantee he won't win some races for a very long time, admiting Michael masi was wrong etc) and bring him for therapy camp with Sharl

😂😂 There is this expression in French "s'en mordre les doigts", it's when you do something and later on deeply regret it. But i have no idea if something similar exists in english or not 😂
