Late to the party as I had to get Mr Jelly to pause whilst I spent money on pumpkin candles in TK Maxx.
That Redbull result 😬. Wonder if Max is regretting not talking to Toto eh?
No real surprises with Lando's pole...he should win this easy surely, but surprised Lewis wasn't higher. Shame Ferrari wasn't better....not a Ferarri gal but love when they do well at an Italian race.
Just a general shout out to how great Monza is as a track. Can't beat the old skool tracks.

lewis is just not performing in Q3 this year - it’s a bit like Lando‘s starts

do we need to feel sorry for Maxie that he was probably not able to get out of his contract for 25?

I think the problem is not with Zak (he would definitely favour Lando now imo) but with Andrea who seems desperate to keep that happy family vibes at McLaren and thinks that favouring Lando would cost them the constructors (i really don't understand how his brain works 😅)

I actually feel for Max and I DO like him but his fans are, in the main, his fans are unbearable and I'm actually quite chuffed that he might not get his 4th PURELY because of the disrespect they put on my man Sebs name. Seb won 2 of his 4 without the advantage of the best car on the grid...maybe Max isn't the 2nd coming after all.
Obviously this has bitten me on the arse because it means a driver I can't bear is going to win but it is what it is. You can't argue with the speed he has in that car and that's all that counts at the end of the day.

agreed! i meant more that zak will take it on board for discussion at meetings: andrea needs to be realistic - they luck out with a mature/level headed second driver like oscar tbh who i’m sure would
play that game if needed. they have to start being more ruthless, you can’t keep both sides of the garage happy, especially in a wdc fight.

i forgot that pole got the ring 🤣

was interesting how they spoke about Max telling Red Bull that they need to change, improve the car or this would happen. And now it did. He should invite Lewis over for a drink or a ride in verstappen jet to share their common pain, about their teams not listen to them 😂

Hopefully Lando will be happy to do the same next year....

something has truly broken between max and rb this season (the horner stuff obviously but appears to be so many other details going on). i thought he would be a one-team driver his whole career but now i wonder if he will jump at some point, and where he would go.

I think he'll just duck off completely. I'm never convinced he loves F1. I think he loves racing and loves winning but hates the bullshit so will just go off, do all his online stuff and buy 100 cats. As he should.

that’s the big question - will he just move on to other racing series and stop the madness of travel, PR (which he clearly doesn’t like as he‘s very open about it). And honestly he‘s just 26 and already for so long in F1, why not

At the moment Lewis is probably the only driver on the grid that would understand Max

He loves racing but I agree that it does not necessarily love f1 enough to stay in it past 30 and I think it is impossible to say how much of his love for racing was caused by him needing to race to earn at least an ounce of acceptance, for himself as a person, from his father
 
Oh Max is so pissed 😂 I trully think he is maximising everything with this car and that, if they have 2 drivers like Checo they would be in way more difficult position than they are today. I hope he leave them at some point so Horner can eat his fingers (i don't know if tgis expression exist in English bit anyway 😅) while realizing everything is his fault for not being able to keep his dick in his pants.
