What is everyones favourite 'I can't believe it didn't win' song? Obviously Sam should have won last year so he doesn't count.

My favourites are Ukraine's Verka singing 'Dancing Lasha Tumbai'. How that lost to Serbia I will never know.

My other one is Sweden's 'Popular' by Eric Saade. Absolute banger that is still played regularly in my car.
Verka is my earliest Eurovision memory.

Popular is a banger agreed!

Loic Nottet for Belgium - Rhythm Inside could've won another year, but 2015 was so competitive. And lovely Mans won it. But love Loic's music, such a incredible style, voice etc. He's amazing.

My most recent one was Keiino, Norway 2019!

I love keiino and still listen to it a lot. Moldova always bring something great. Loved the sun stroke project and runaway in 2010 with the awesome saxophone.
Blanche with city lights in 2017 was great too but my totally weird one is Finland and Waldos people with lose control in 2009, which I doubt anyone remembers and I’m not sure they even made it through the semis but I love that song.

I remember Waldos people only because it wasn't supposed to qualify for the final it hadn't come in the top 10 back then (can't remember when they stopped it) the top 9 qualified the 10th was chosen as some sort of wildcard so they did qualify but think they came last in final

You have a great memory @Rach88. I don’t remember that but remember it didn’t do great. I still love it though 😂
Allez Ola ole is a great song too. I always think if I ever went on pointless and they had a eurovision round I’d be great with the random acts I still remember 😁

Over lockdown I looked at facts and figures to pass the time 😬 and I did rewatch a few editons don't regret it haha but you miss things when you watch it first time round I did love waldos people not sure why it didn't connect

Norway in 2019, Spirit in the Sky. Overwhelmingly won the public vote, however somehow the juries went for Arcade instead 🤔 some skullduggery there I reckon

Dancing Lasha Tumbai (Ukraine 2007)
Shady Lady (Ukraine 2008)
No One (Slovenia 2011) I still don't know how Azerbaijan won that year and IMO some countries deserved better placings these were Moldova, Austria and the UK.
I Feed You My Love (Norway 2013)
Grande Amore (Italy 2015)
Sound of Silence (Australia 2016)
Spirit in the Sky (Norway 2019)
Discoteque (Lithuania 2021)

Feed You My Love is one of the best songs ever and I won't hear anything else on that. Seems though like only Eurovision fans know it at all, which is sad.

I also like and remember
- Wild Dances (Ruslana)
- Hard Rock Hallelujah (Lordi, it's catchy, I love metal, this is just great)
- Satellite (Lena)
- Kedvesem (Alex, nobody seems to know this either, it's so cute)
- Ég á líf" (Eythor Igni)
- Snap (Rosa Linn)

There are more, but those are on top of my mind right now.

Hi. This isn't my usual thread but I'm on a desperate mission so hope this is allowed? I've been asked to put a last min( today) quiz together on Eurovision does anyone know of any sites that I could pinch one from that's decent ? Ta

independent.ie has a quiz you could nick some from there - although they are mostly Irish questions
