We all know that The Beatles could get up there and we'd still receive zero points! Normally I laugh about it every year but last night was actually horrible. Normally Australia, Ireland and Malta throw us a bone, but nothing. I think we should stop personally. We're not liked clearly

But James was bloody awful. Terrible uninspiring staging, below average song sung by a dull singer. It had all the passion of a dead haddock !

If you actually analyse what was popular and in the top 5 it comes down to performance. Why did Switzerland and France get such high points because they were excellent singers who gave incredible performances.

Why did people vote for Italy or Malta? Again because of their dedication and performance.

The standard of the staging and the performance given by the singer are huge factors.

Piers Morgan has now got in on the act saying the song, singer and staging was crap. For once I agree with him.

I loved France. The drama! Italy were decent too, and it'd be quite rock and roll to win Eurovision and then get disqualified.
Not surprised we got 0 points, not sure we were worse than Germany but it was a strong year and we were forgettable.
