She spends money like water when it's her expensive chocolates or spa days but can't afford things for her kids and everything's in the tu sale or off Facebook marketplace.

On her stories yesterday she said she was exhausted after a busy day but she doesn't seem to realise that the kids will be too so that be why they play up. God she is so stupid. How did she get to be a teacher!

Nice to see she's rewarding the kids with food like she does herself.

I'm probably super naive/ignorant, but what's wrong with teletubbies? 😂

What on earth has she got against teletubbies???
Them poor kids - only allowed to watch something that she is interested in. God for bid they are allowed to develop their own likes and interests other than bleeping trains!!

I have to say, it seems like Emma makes more work for herself then complains about it. Like with going to Thomas or cbeebies land, if the chances are the kids will play up etc (to be expected) why does she persevere. She could wait a few years to do those big days out once they are older and easier and in the mean time do walks/playgrounds etc.
Also just stick your kids in front of the TV like every other parent so you can get stuff done instead of entertaining and interacting with them constantly.

I have to agree. My 4 year old can be overwhelmed by theme parks, particularly when it comes to all the queuing and crowds. He has to learn to be in both but when it’s the 3rd or 4th queue of the day I completely understand his boredom! I have parked those days for in another 18 months and I’m making use of my National Trust pass! Play park, nice muddy puddle walks and a picnic. Why make life difficult. I think Emma has some sort of ideal to live up to and wants to show the perfect life, when actually she’s showing someone who is struggling to juggle her life and not particularly enjoying being Emma.

I agree completely, I think it's unfair to put kids in situations they will likely find difficult/overwhelming and then they end up getting in trouble etc. Also if you need to bribe a child with a new exciting toy when they get home then is it really worth it in the first place. I think she puts too much pressure on herself. Motherhood isn't easy for everyone and I can resonate with some things she says but I do think letting go of the expectations of herself and the expectations of her kids would help.

I think CBeebies is one of the better kids channels, it has a good mix of educational and fun stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️
We use CBeebies - it’s got lots of fab programmes on there- alphablocks, numberblocks, mr tumble to name a few! I don’t see what’s wrong with them, sure there are a few programmes I look at and think ‘eh’ but they’re for children there is a reason adults don’t get them.
