Genuine question. Do some nurseries just let you pay as you go? I get the impression from some of her posts she doesn’t pay she if she doesn’t send them in. I have to pay for nursery whether my kid goes or not! I pay for the space

I think they go term time & then she just pays for ad hoc days in the holidays

I've never come across one, but who knows.
All of the ones I've worked in, and the ones my kids have attended were you pay whether they're there or not, term time or not as they were all year round nurseries

I know of some nurseries that charge a retainer for holidays; so 50% or so of your normal costs to hold your place. So that could be what happens with hers, maybe.

My lad is on a term time only 'contract' at nursery so we don't pay for holidays and his place is kept. It's pretty standard where I am from to have this offering

My 4 year old isn’t a genius, using the big words like James. however, I’ve never needed reigns, he listens to my instructions and he rarely has tantrums. I’ve also never had to plan a day around my kid because I’m worried bout meltdowns. No, no one will enjoy teaching your little brat. I have a few brown nosing students in my class and they are the most boring kids to teach. I hate know it alls.

If a parent told me I was “really going to enjoy teaching” their child, I’d expect a year of dread and difficulties. Both from the child and the parent!
