And Laurel just dropped it into conversation in last night's ep. (Im just watching it now.)
Is he supposed to be on a school trip? Did he travel alone?
Has he gone to stay with someone?

Laurel’s dad is alive and well and so is the actor. He was played by Duncan Preston who was in a lot of the Victoria Wood shows. It’s his character, Doug Potts who is in Australia

I didn’t even get one and I DIDNT discharge myself and I could barely walk!Also how did he get a wheelchair if he discharged himself?
James Chase can't yet pull off the big angry scenes as I said when he did the tearing up of the wedding album, it was like watching a cheap Incredible Hulk. But he is ok at the menace, flicking of personalities etc so if the story is going to run awhile the writers need more of these behaviours and somehow change the alone venting of anger scenes.
Eden is smashing it as Belle, I know everyone wants Cain to 'sort' Tom out but it should be the Dingle women.

There are always plenty of spoilers published but they keep the big stuff secret - recent examples being Rishi and Ethan dying.
In a recent interview producer Laura Shaw alluded to the Tom and Belle storyline lasting the rest of this year.
IMHO this is a red herring. I think Tom's behaviour will be uncovered (by women ie. Dingles and health professionals) and him punished either by the criminal justice system or Dingle retribution within a few weeks.
I reckon Laura Shaw said this to make everyone believe they have to wait a long time to see the conclusion of this storyline so we are all shocked when it happens. Just my theory.

No I don't want Cain to sort him out, always wanted the Dingle women, and Moira who is far more scarier than Cain!!
