All the scenes at the Hop/ Hide annoy me immensely.
No-one would book it for a Christening/ Wedding/ Ball/ Important function/ Romantic meal! Who would want to be surrounded by sweaty old sports equipment and stuff for hire as they gaze into each other's eyes! If they really want to use it for that, they need to upmarket it a bit - it can't serve as everything.
I would think the Caff would be a more desirable location for a romantic meal tbh or even the dusty church hall!

This Chas storyline won't hit the mark because they've already made it so unbelievable and if most viewers are like me, we don't really care what happens to the miserable, sour faced, old harridan!

The HOP should have a separate function hire bit

I don't rate Danny Miller as an actor at all, all that sniffing and pulling stupid faces and whatnot. But I did think his acting drunk was pretty good, acting pissed seems quite a difficult thing to do and it was very believable IMHO.

I guess the Chas storyline will see mother and son lovingly reunited  Agree with others, the public don't like the character Chas or Lucy Pargeter but some some mad reason the producers do. They're just trying to get sympathy for the character with this storyline. Chas is one of those legacy characters that are signed up to long contracts like Charity, Cain, Kim, Nicola etc. so I don't think she'll be leaving the show. Pity.

Few musings...

- Where the duck was Brenda? Was Lesley Dunlop ill?

- Why so few mourners? Anyone who has been through the traumatic experience of attending a teenager's funeral knows that hundreds attend, usually to the point that people have to stand outside. Why didn't the producers fork out for some extras?

- Bob's eulogy was tit and mostly about him.

- Nicola is going to tell Angelica to keep schtum about this, isn't she?

Edited for spelling.
