What Rodney said was absolutely vile (it shocked me as I didn’t expect Rodney to say something like that) but Paul did have a good comeback, owning and reclaiming the word that Rodney had used as an insult to him and Enzo:

Rodney: "I don't want a pair of promiscuous fa**ots under my roof!"

Paul: "Watch who you're calling promiscuous!"
 
Like most Emmerdale storylines, this one about which kid was driving is totally stupid (read utter horseshit).
The one with the seatbelt bruise from her right upper body was driving, the one with the bruise on the left upper body was in the passenger seat! Amazing that none of the medical staff or police saw this in hospital.
(Mind you, this is a crash which was so bad it killed someone in the back seat, but left the front seat occupants uninjured and capable of opening the doors and getting out)

Yes, but she's had a few lines here and there through the years and hasnt shown any acting talent.
Soaps give 1 year contracts (even to long standing characters) so they could have recast her before doing this storyline instead of keep renewing her contract.

The one playing Cathy is bad but this one is even worse!!!!!

The early morning scenes in tonight's episode were just ridiculous. Nicola with her lovely curled hair and make-up. Then Tracey outside in her goonie (dressing gown) absolutely caked in make-up which included her very pink eyeshadow.

Yes Angel cannot act at all and neither can Cathy. Compared to April who is and always has been a fabulous little actress.

Who would want to be surrounded by sweaty old sports equipment and stuff for hire as they gaze into each other's eyes! If they really want to use it for that, they need to upmarket it a bit - it can't serve as everything.
I would think the Caff would be a more desirable location for a romantic meal tbh or even the dusty church hall!

This Chas storyline won't hit the mark because they've already made it so unbelievable and if most viewers are like me, we don't really care what happens to the miserable, sour faced, old harridan!

I always cringe at the way the Hide has all those oars decorating the bar / restaurant. It was an oar that Meena smashed what'shisnames head in with on her murderous rampage ffs! 🤣
