I hope she doesn't quit youtube for selfish reasons...it is fun to watch what she is doing with her life. Would be interested in where she is at in 5 yrs, 10 yrs, etc down the line.
I don't think she will quit as youtube is her audience for her pearls and scarves. it's also her source of validation, and we know she will need it more than ever as she really has no one else in her life except for Ginette.

You may be right! Ten years is a long time, and maybe she's finally ready to move forward with her life. Though I can't imagine her not posting a "good-bye" video first as many YTers tend to do.
No, she would probably just delete all her videos and make her social media private. Even her video where she announced her engagement ending wasn't a proper explanation. It was a shopping haul and then in the middle "oh by the way I am also not in Florida and not getting married and wish him the best. Now let's talk about this beautiful dress I bought yesterday.". This isn't a person who thinks things through (that engagement being a good example) or plans things. I expect very little at this point.

Part of me thinks she'd post a goodbye so she could get some sad "we'll miss you" comments from her Karens but part of me also thinks she totally would just delete everything one day.

I think it prob depends on how self destructive she feels.
But if she stops with YouTube and Instagram, how will she make a living? She doesn't have a proper job since she has no clientele so Elle needs to rely on her Nouvelle lines. Without promoting her brand on social media to generate interest, nobody will know about or buy future collections. Elle is essentially that parasite that still lives in the basement of their familial home without contributing, except expecting to live in her own space and with an expense account.

She's posted seven videos this year and three of them had nothing to do with clothing/scarves/pearls. Pretty sure she isn't that invested in her businesses and isn't relying on the income for whatever reason. Either the boyfriend is helping out or her mother increased her allowance. Even during the lockdown she was promoting her stuff so it's clear to me she doesn't care anymore because she just doesn't need the money.

Does anybody remember when she participated in that panel of women business owners? She talked about juggling her career in law with being a jewelry designer and running two small businesses and being an influencer with content on fashion, makeup, and cooking -- basically having it all. I lost all track of time since the pandemic started but wasn't that something like 4 years ago?

She was sort of convincing if you didn't know any better even though she did a 3-2-1 in the middle of the talk. Now, a few years later. . .

I'm pretty sure she'd give up her whole handbag collection to be able to do a 3-2-1 and have the Rick fiasco never happen.

I believe she gave that 'speech' around 2017 or so. She was still in Vancouver back then. I don't know why she even got invited, is Vancouver that much of an empowered females desert? I think she also bragged there about being a law professor, even though she was actually just teaching one online contract law course.

Pretty sure she’s turning 34 this year.
Yeah she turned 30 with her birthday party themed after things that SS likes. 31 was the Rick engagement m'elletdown. 32 and 33 were covid birthdays so 34 is staring her down.

I think thats why Fisherman bolting would REALLY mess her up, maybe even more than the Joe or Rick fiascos, because unless she finds another guy with judgement as poor as Rick's, she's looking at being 37 or 38 for her first pregnancy. That's fine for most people and a lot easier to accomplish with modern medicine, but Elle wouldn't like it one bit. All she would think about is how the mean girls would laugh at her for it taking so long.

Is it easy to get pregnant in your late 30s? I'm happily childfree, but I have heard the common notion of women rapidly losing fertility in their 30s is actually false and based on a study from hundreds of years ago in France which only included a very small number of women. Then again, I heard about it on Adams Ruins Everything, so... lol

Yeah that's based on French church records from the 1700s. I read something in-depth about it for one of my friends. Basically, fertility doesn't drop at the same rate as people once thought. Usually the people who have trouble in their 30s already were just not as fertile to begin with. And things get skewed too B/c a lot of more fertile people either have "oops" babies earlier and then finish having kids earlier. If I can find the study I can attach it later.

I got pregnant in my late 30s. It didn't take long and luckily didn't require any medical assistance. I know lots of women in their late 30s and 40s who have had healthy pregnancies.
But yes, if he broke up with Elle then I honestly don't know how she will react. I'm sure she thinks being unmarried in her mid-30s is unacceptable. And she's already become so desperate...I had forgotten about the bbq themed party with Elle wearing an evening dress in her mom's living room 😂😂😂 I remember she got a grill for SS that Christmas. I think he dumped her before they could use it.

Did the fisherman or waiter take this photo? 🤔
