Glad that Ricky is a decent kid. Usually script writers in shows just want to make all kids of a certain age bratty.

Happy that Marie was back working in the cafe so over the headache that made her miss her shift earlier this week.

When Jack tracked down Sam and Ricky and they spoke in private I couldn't help but notice the sign behind her that said all day breakfast £3. Who are they trying to kid in London?

See those two untouched fry ups in another scene? Poor use of props as you could tell they were completely cold as no steam was coming off them.

(Watching old 2009 eps as always) also noticed how they never do anything , in old episodes they’d actually be fixing cars doing work for business. I hardly count stacey getting a bap work but they all just walk up to eachother talk. I guess becuase no drama it’s even more boring I can pick it apart but honestly how do writers think it’s good tv, where is drama. The sam and Phil storyline is so boring becuase We don’t know anything do we?

Sam's return has been a bit underwhelming so far. She doesn't want custody of her son and Phil failed to brief her on what exactly she was supposed to be doing for the Mitchell empire (which makes no sense). She hasn't got any friends in the square (except maybe useless Billy) and no real reason to stay given that's she's already pissed everyone off.

I really wish that they would just let Phil out of prison to sort everything out.

She was supposed to go bolo in a wedding dress according to the soap catch ups for this week. Must be next week, but she's definitely planned to implode soon so we will finally get some much needed respite from her obvious mania!
The scene last night was a terrible representation of what happens if a mental health crisis needs action. The police wouldn't be introduced until absolutely necessary, no matter what, Jean would be taken to hospital to be assessed (always a duty psych on call in A&E), and no way would the paramedic have a go at Stacey.

I'm really quite angry about how they're playing this out. The doctor wouldn't have be so dismissive either, medications are under constant reviews, and only having to wait a month for an appointment is actually a short waiting time!

They'll turn people off from getting help.

Yes for definite, I think with these storylines etc they need to be as close to the truth as possible so people are aware of the help they can get if needed; I remember saying that the Gray storyline near the end got a bit nonsensical also and almost took away from what was a well written and acted DA situation between him and Chantelle / Chelsea - when it starts getting nonsensical then people who may need help may feel its pointless as how it is portrayed in the show loses its meaning a bit.

Back in the day all of the Mitchell's wouldn't have trusted Sam to make a cup of tea let alone run the 'famerly' business.

Did anyone watch Bernie's (don't know her real name) documentary about obesity last night?

I thought she was alright, I felt bad for her when she was talking about the bullying she experienced. But overall I found it quite pointless, there was no real conclusion. It stated the obvious- obese people are more prone to certain health problems. I was surprised panorama didn’t mention the government enforcing calories put on food menus but I guess that was after they had filmed it

I think Sam's return so far has been brilliant, despite the really dodgy Phil storyline (utterly pointless and boring). I'm loving her interactions with other residents of the square, it's all so camp!
