Some are very well paid. Kinda depends on how long they've been in the show. None of them are hard up. None are as well paid as the actor who plays Charlie in Casualty. He's the best paid actor for BBC Soaps.

They’re not hard up by any means but for the most part they don’t earn crazy high amounts. They’re quite limited on what other things they can go at the same time too. I guess it’s relative job security too for the long running characters.
