I'm trying to work out is Bernie the biological mum aswell as surrogate of rainie and stuarts baby or is she just carrying the baby?

I was hoping it would be Rainie's Egg. Rainie is only around 40/41, so there is no reason she couldn't have harvested her egg. I recall the problem was that Rainie couldn't carry the baby.
