Wasn’t he in the Yesterday movie too?

I feel like most of them quit the soaps to make it big and few do, he has, Ben hardy. Did one end up in game of thrones or was that hollyoaks?

uk soaps have a pretty poor success rate (other than people like sarah lancashire or suranne jones who go on to do a lot of prestige tv).

australian soaps in comparison have a huge number of actors who go on to have actual movie careers.

A lot of that is to do with 'looks' though more than acting ability.
Margot Robbie and Guy Pearce are prime examples of this. Both have the standards of beauty admired in Hollywood. Guy is a good actor but he wouldn't have got the breaks if he wasn't a traditionally handsome man.

yep - the hemsworth brothers also a great example
of that!!!

i also read that, in australia, if you’re a young actor then it’s almost guaranteed that you’ll end up on either neighbours or home and away for at least a small stint, so pretty much every australian actor will have appeared on at least one or the other. it’s probably easier to find one who hasn’t 🤣

I'm very sarcastic, but I realise that it can be misconstrued online. No harm, no foul. And actually I've done it myself, although the information in the spoiler turned out to be untrue anyway! 😀😌
 
Just catching up on here and I think that we are an episode behind. There was nothing on Monday and we’ve only two episodes on the RTÉ player. Can any Irish confirm? That’s the last episode I can see 🤔🤔🤔🤔
