Yes, from the start it would be ruled as "foul play" at the very least for starters. Anyone who watches Unforgotten or Waking the Dead will know that despite long term decomposition they can establish how he was killed. And he's not even been in there that long.

and the cafe would have been recently checked over after the fire in the first place (when he obviously wasn’t there) and the entire square knows he was fine (and getting married) at christmas time! like you say, he hasn’t even been under there that long (compared to tina as an example).

It’s not evidence of the murder though. I’m not thick I’m just saying that evidence is needed. The police don’t know what happened.

Me reading the comments today on here about there being no evidence of murder. I'd hope that someone being buried under a bloody cafe indicates something untowards has happened in most people's minds.

I actually watched the Forensics recently and this guy was a carer for a older friend who died and instead of calling the police he put his body in a freezer! I mean he did continue to claim his money but the stench?? Just strange behaviour.
