I actually watched the Forensics recently and this guy was a carer for a older friend who died and instead of calling the police he put his body in a freezer! I mean he did continue to claim his money but the stench?? Just strange behaviour.
Wonder if he got the idea from Karen McCluskey in Desperate Housewives who kept her dead husband in the freezer in order to keep getting his pension 😂

Greedy and twisted feck! Sadly that does happen especially when there's something to gain financially!
He only got 3 years I think too! Absolutely shocking considering it went for on for a good year or two.

Sometimes I think I could kill my boyfriend and put him in the freezer but then I remember that he 1. Wouldn't fit and 2. I wouldn't last in prison

With them planting the murder weapon in Dean's flat, it won't even have his prints on it unless he finds it before the police do? Plus there's surely no way for the police to know it's definitely the murder weapon cos Keanu's body will be too decomposed to tell what killed him?
They won’t be concerned about his prints that will get bypassed and ignored like most things in EE

I found this scene very powerful and I absolutely adore George. 🥺

I'm not clued up on police forensics, but are prints or dna even that useful irl like it's portrayed in films/tv? All it proves is the person touched something at some point, or their eyelash or hair got dropped, it doesn't prove when they were there or that they were there when the crime was committed, unless it's used together with other evidence. And it can so easily be planted or wiped clean. So it's prob not a huge deal that his prints or dna are nowhere. It's more likely the 6 are going to gang up as witnesses and say they saw him go in the caff that night, and he'll have no alibi as he was skulking around on his own at the Vic and god knows where christmas night

I suppose it ties everything together. Witness statements might not be enough on their own but if you have multiple people saying he did it and was fighting with Keanu publicly, and then tarpaulin from his business being used, asking Cindy for a quick sale so he could leave the country when the body's found and so on, it ties it all together

A few years back a couple of women round here buried one of them's husband after he passed away . They continued to claim his pension but all his medical appointments etc had been cancelled and DWP called the police. He was buried in the garden, they both went to prison but only for two or three years.

I am in two minds whether Linda has gone into the police station to confess or put the blame on Dean and say she witnessed him going into the cafe. Fantastic scenes in court and for a minute I thought Eddie had pushed Gloria onto the floor but he's too smart to be doing that outside court. He's truly wicked and doesn't care much for anyone besides himself. The way he walks away with his fat arse mate. I hope Gloria does survive though as I think she truly does love George and wants to try and do the right thing.
