No to fostering, the writers could easily pile even more disasters on Whitless offscreen. An earthquake will hit Milton Keynes, Whit will have few broken legs or something 🙃 then Britney will end up on the square 😮‍💨
 
Is this Whitney's exit storyline? If so, I guess they'll have her and Zack split because she insists on fostering a kid she has known for five minutes. He's clearly not into it. I thought they were going to kill her off when she was hit by the car, but instead she was back running around after Britney the next day. She's obsessed!

I can see Zack getting with Lauren if he's staying put when Whitney leaves.

This will be what will happen and he'll be miraculously fixed of whatever it is he is going through and it will never be mentioned again. Like Kim's anxiety, she was fully recovered and able to jet off on a cruise with the kids within a couple of months.
 
Couples struggling with fertility is such an overlooked topic as everyone on the square gets pregnant from every 1 night stand!

Butt they are way missing the mark with it! As much as I can’t stand Whitney, Sonia begrudging her being pregnant when she lost Peach is uncomfortable watching!

Sonia being annoyed about Lili getting pregnant with Ricky Jnr ( I still don’t accept he is the dad!!) is more believable and understandable. But they only lightly touched on that

I also think it would have been better to give an infertility storyline to a more stable likeable couple but I can’t think of any on the square!!

The fact there genuinely isn’t a stable and likeable couple on the square isn’t something I’d really thought about but how bloody true!! Especially compared to the older episodes, yes there’s always been affairs and dramas and who’s the daddy but the relationships in Albert square at the moment truly all seem to be at rock bottom!

It’s just not accurate. I struggled for years with fertility and the more realistic reaction is that you’d normally paste a smile on for your relative or friend and begrudge them privately. Resentment is unfortunately normal but it’s usually private.

Having said that over the years I did have one or two people like Whitney where they tell you their news all martyr like having told other people how concerned they’d be over my reaction seperately and it would make me want to smack them. You’ll have people who genuinely care about your feelings but then you’ve others who just want to make your situation all about themselves and while
I know Whitney is meant to be a saint everytime she makes that annoying big sad put upon face I can’t help but feel she’s just making Sonia’s situation all about her.

Same, it wasn’t until I was writing it and realised there was nobody I could suggest. I know it’s probably ‘boring’ but the lack of stable relationships is a joke!

Bit controversial but i think the square is crying out for traditional family unit that we could get to know and care about and relate to.

The idea of a women and man fancying each other, dating then getting married and having 2/3 children is still very much alive and well in the real world but it's not represented at all really on the show.

I think a non divorced couple with their own biological kids coping with day to day family life would be just as appreciated by viewers as there are still lots out there and so much scope for storylines .
