Today’s episode was a bore. Gina’s scenes were a bit cringey, I can’t seem to warm to her
Yes I know what you mean about Gina. I completely understand why Anna has hired a detective and I'm surprised that George hasn't initiated something similar. I'd want to know why she disappeared even if there was no chance of Rose coming back or a reconciliation.

Anna is the more likeable of the 2 (although I don't think she's a great actress).

Stacey's plan to out her stalker was rubbish but why did Theo turn up and then pretend he'd come about Lily’s homework?

You'd think the penny would've dropped, but clearly not!

i can’t bear gina either! anna is much more likeable (after a shaky start), i wouldn’t mind if gina was just a temporary character.
I wouldn't mind either! It'd be predictable if Gina goes off the rails when Rose/Cindy reappears, and it'll be embarrassing to watch. I absolutely love Anna, I hope they don't ruin her with a load of heavy storylines!

I remember reading an article about Jay seeking comfort in an unlikely person. I hope it's not Gina; I'm sure there's more to the character than the chaos we're seeing right now, but she's nowhere near Lola's standard

Gina’s too flighty for Jay and it's too early.for him to hook up with someone else. Taking drugs is probably a deal breaker for him too as he's pretty straight. I can't see Jay with Gina at all.

Why was Jay taking Gina's advice about talking to Lexie about Lola, like he isn't an orphan? He knows, better than anyone what it's like to have your parents die whilst you're still a child.

Also, are Stacey and Eve thick as two short planks now? Not that long ago that Martin told them Theo was an odd ball, why wouldn't he be number one suspect?

i honestly have always thought jay and whitney would have been a good match. they both crave stability and family, their personalities match pretty well. i did really like him with ruby too before they ruined her (and another thing to blame ben for!)

yes on both counts but especially on jay! he lost his father in an incredibly traumatic way too - you think he would know how to relate to how lexi is feeling. it was obviously a plot point to get gina talking about “rose” but it bugged me.

I seem to remember reading ages ago that up to 10 people are going to be aware of the Christmas corpse that gets stored in the freezer at the Vic. If that's true and a number of people are involved there's got to be a good reason for them ganging up together with nobody calling the cops. That means the person killed can't have anyone who actually likes them living on the square!

It rules out someone like Ian returning only to be bumped off as Kathy wouldn't allow that to happen to her son (however annoying he is).

It sort of points to it being someone like Theo who is an outsider but I think Theo is going to be found out soon (way before Xmas).

Even Nish, who is disliked by most of the square, still has a son and grandson who cares about him.

Filler episode today but we still had....

1) Kids illegally in the bookies and nobody in a hurry for them to leave.

2) Stacey opens her post, looks inside the envelope (she couldn't not tell what the item was or have a very good idea) and yet still thinks it's a great idea to remove the item from the envelope.
