Ravi is a wrong un, I’m sure the actor who plays him is a nice enough chap. But his character is a complete and utter wrong un, dealing drugs, blackmailing Denise, trying to shag a mother and a daughter, shagging his dads wife. Have no idea how they will redeem his character long term if he is to be a permanent fixture in the square. Although, having said that he will make his exit sooner or later because he wants to spread his wings and is probably tired of wearing lifts in all his shoes.


I don’t see the appeal in him at all. Also if his IMDb or actors Card (whatever it’s called) lists him as 5ft 8 you can shave a few inches off that, Tom Cruise was listed as 5ft 8 for years when it’s obvious he was a short arse and wore lifts, didn’t do his career any harm so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hes a brilliant character imo, it's a soap, who wants nice and redeemable? He's a great villain with a bit of a soft side and it helps he is also easy on the eye 😍

they haven’t given him enough light and shade for me. the actor is decent and 🔥🔥 but i’m not sure if we’re supposed to care about him and feel sorry for him, or if he’s a straight up villain. the denise thing was a misstep writing-wise imo as it completely changed the direction of his character.

it’s like everything in this show atm - terrible pacing. we don’t get given the chance to be invested in anyone.

this show has tried to replicate dennis so many times though with these numerous tortured bad boy types and they’ve never managed it.

Team Kheerat all the way, I can’t believe we have a soap with Reiss, Bernie, Sonia and a few others constantly taking up screen time with their wittering and non story storylines and they let Kheerat go. Arguably one of the very few decent, well rounded male characters they’ve had in a while.

did we ever find out what really happened there? i’m still convinced that the actor who played kheerat must have said he wanted to leave really abruptly - the whole thing had been set up for him to be the centre of the family (and the conflict with him and ravi) and his exit was so rushed.

agree that they put so much work into making him a well rounded character and it all seemed to be a waste!

I don’t think they ever addressed his abrupt departure, don’t think the actor himself has commented either? I could be wrong though. Seemed like such a waste of a character they spent ages on. His romance with Stacey was also sweet.
