That episode was actually hilarious, I still hate Reiss but he was funny, I really don’t like Sharon and Keanu together, he just makes her look older, I really don’t want to think about her triangle either 🤢 Where are they actually going with Reiss? He’s so awkward, Sonya is annoying yes but even she deserves better than him. Annie and Ollie are very cute, wondered if Linda was implying she was going to look after Janine’s baby, another Walford child to forget about. I used to really like Eve but her constant whispering especially around Suki does my head in. Vinny needs to go, I actually think he’s the most pointless character in it now.

Linda may as well adopt Janine’s kid. She seems to manage running a pub OK with two young kids. Does she just stick them in front of CBeebies while working?
 
Eve’s facial expressions during Thursdays episode were really bad. I genuinely see zero chemistry between her and Suki. Even Honey and Suki had more spark than this pair and Honey turned her down.

Eve with Suki gives me real creeper vibes.


Can’t believe they got away with the Reiss scenes, “todger town” “lesbi-Avenue” also Sonia shoehorning biphobia in gives me even more reason to hate the character. Can the writers please just write her out with a good storyline or send off to her daughter.

Sharon and Keanu also look completely mismatched but then so does the friendship between Sharon and Sonia, how long have those 2 known each other and has Sonia ever had a meal with her?!

Keanoo and Shazza don't work as a couple at all. She was very glammed up yesterday but still looks like his mother. They have nothing in common with each other and no real chemistry.

I can't stand Reiss but I did find him funny in that scene where he found out Sonia is bisexual and had lived such an exotic life 😄

If Reiss takes a look at the books of that garage he'll soon see that it's well dodgy. Phil and Ben must have been cooking the books for years.

Surely Shazza should know that the Mitchells were laundering money through the garage and it's not really a viable business?

Me too! I really liked seeing his caring side around Suki, he genuinely seemed very worried and when he hid the suitcase for her 😍 I thought his speech at the weekend when he won his award was spot on.

Although I have to admit I’m seeing the attraction to Keanooo now. Last nights episode in his vest, then vestless and practically panting with anticipation when Reiss barged in 🥵 hate his chain necklace and him with Sharon, really hope it isn’t him at Christmas but I still think Sharon being in a wedding dress is just to make us think it’s someone connected to her.

I was wondering what you were talking about as I didn’t see any added in scene. Then I realised I had watched the iplayer episode which is dropped at 6am

So after reading your post I watched the episode that was aired on BBC1 from 7:30pm and saw the added in scene of Jack & Alfie talking about the Hammers win which must have been filmed earlier that day

That’s one issue with watching it on iplayer, any last minute events that happen on the day or in this case the evening before will not be included in the iplayer episode but can be slotted in to the linear evening broadcast

Maybe there will be a confrontation between Reisse and Phil and that will be the end of him.
 
I really wish they’d show the realities of life - of being an older mum, or a parent of kids with SEN or severe trauma.
We never see how Sharon or Denise feels about being an older mum it, it would be great to see the struggles and benefits they face. They just need stories about real family’s -for example Raymond, -does he even live with Denise, Jack, Amy and Ricky? They never mention him, not even at the family therapy. Why don’t we see them working out how to live as a blended family? It must’ve been a shock to the teenage kids to have to live with a young child (an traumitised orphan at a that!) and adjust. Mick and Mia, have been completely ignored since the Grey storyline, in real life that family would be having so much support and therapy for those poor children, but we see them in the pub every night, Keanu their uncle didn’t even ask about them.
 
I have to admit, I found the scene with Reiss hilarious and with Sharon and Keanu trying to stifle their laughter. Though when he was declaring love to Sonia I wanted to ask "How's your wife...Stunning Debbie?"

Re: Sharon and Keanu - the more weight she loses, the more ancient she looks. So she kinda looks ridiculous with Keanu now. Like his mum. I saw a scene of her with Phil in the gym and her legs are like twigs. Did she have a gastric band done? Kudos to her for losing the weight but it now shows on her face.

The scene with Lola's gifts to everyone made me tear up. As someone who didn't like the Lola character and I had admitted a few weeks back that the storyline left me cold and unaffected. Anyway, I binged all of last week's episodes (at the weekend) and I was just bawling. Just so touching and amazingly acted. Kim and Denise's reactions got me going as well as everyone saying goodbye to her. Just breath-taking.

Ben falling to his knees when he saw the body bag was annoying and typical Ben though.
