She’s probably hoping to launch an influencer career like lots of ex-Eastenders. I hope she does better than that as she’s genuinely a good actor.

Off to the bookies to put money on her being in Strictly this year.
 
Just watched a spoiler video for next week that says the new family’s mother walked out on then nine years ago and suggests it has something to do with Cindy Beale returning. Lucy Beale died nine years ago! So they’ve assumed they’re going down the route of Cindy having faked her death, run off with a new man and starting a family with him, only to ditch them when she finds out the daughter she abandoned was murdered. Ngl I wasn’t even alive when Cindy Beale died, and I’m sure many viewers don’t remember her plus it seems like she has no links beyond this possible link to the new family so maybe this will be her reason to come back.
 
Am loving Colin Salmon as George Knight 😋
Reckon he's going to be one of my favourites 😍 wonder if he's dodgy 🤔 probably 😁 I bet he's escaping a life of crime on the Costa del Sol!
Anyway he's certainly got great screen presence.

Am less sure about Linda's mum and the girls, although it's early days and they might improve.

Linda was really annoying tonight but it's a bit strange that her mum appears to be lying to her.

I’m glad Ben wasn’t around. Lola would probably be comforting him while she was on her deathbed.

George seems to be a good character. Interesting to have a character who is semi-famous in the EE universe and he has potential. The daughters are awful. Why has every other new female character got to be mouthy and annoying and starting tit all the time?

Yep agreed about the Max Bowden thing. It was absolutely absurd that he just disappeared to look into a ‘medical trial’ so I definitely think it’s to do with his recent losses. I also found the Phil/Sharon part really jarring, still not convinced Sharon and Phil will get back together unless they’re making it a slow burner.

Cindy has a sister called Gina so maybe this is true and she named her daughter after her
