I know Linda is back soon but nobody seems to give a tit about Mick, has he been forgotten already?!

They did have people leaving flowers and other memorial things outside The Vic for a couple of days and then people just got on with their life.

To be fair as none of Mick’s relatives are currently around there is nobody significant to mourn him. Whitney got over it fairly quickly as she’s got her own stuff going on and Mitch who was good mates with him has got his other mates Harvey & Rocky to concentrate on

It's really hard to get tested for STIs in my area, so this could highlight that. You try to book in the morning and all the slots are gone and that's for them sending you a kit, not even an appointment. There are various charities that aim at certain demographics, such as gay men or young women under 25 but for the general public it's hard. I've been in a relationship for 15 years, so I'm getting this info from others but I do trust that they are correct.
Some STIs can be tested for via post.

My PSA for the day!

I wouldn’t even need that booze if I was Denise I’d have had my legs open wider than the channel tunnel the second Ravi sat next to me lool
There's a joke in there about being wetter than the channel but I'm far too ladylike to go there

I love watching the Christian/Syed/Amira storyline unfold again on 2010 Eastenders. So sad for all involved - it’s like the Walford version of ‘My Policrman’. Syed and Amira’s wedding taking place a couple of episodes after Archie was murdered was peak EastEnders. Glad I can watch it again as an adult this time round😂. We’d never get such quality episodes so close together these days (or at all lol). And Syed was gorgeous. Can they use Danny Dyer’s salary money to bribe him and Christian to return?

I loved Christian such a great character and played really well by the actor and I did enjoy the Syed storyline. I am just over EE bringing characters back ruining them. Like this Janine return she was great previously but that with Mick was stupid plus the 50k never got found out at all.

They're pretty good at just not ending storylines I hated Kheerat's exit but apparently it was the actors choice to leave so maybe they had to rush the ending but it doesn't make sense. The informant storyline with Phil and Keeble being shot they police just took her word surely if one of their own gets hurt they would do a lot to resolve it.

syed was 🔥🔥 and that was such a great storyline - the pacing of it, and that the writers actually had the patience to do a proper slow build and let it all slowly unravel, was amazing. the writers now have completely lost track of that kind of build up. the show also really misses a christian type character imo.

i’d love for them to come back but i also love that they had a happy ending eventually so am happy for them to stay away 🤣

I was just thinking the same thing.
I think Billy made a vague reference to the pub still being closed when he was asking Lola to have lunch with him one day last week.

I presume the pub belonged to Mick and Linda so does that mean that half of it is Janine's now?

Imagine, they’d DESTROY them.

Within a week Syed would have relapsed into alcoholism, Christian would be having an affair with Ben, then they’d break up and there’d be a big Christmas storyline with them getting back together. And then they’d break up again in February. Oh and one of them would father a child with a random woman on the square despite being gay.

I know the producers would absolutely destroy them but I’d love them to just be background characters who never have any struggles🥺🥺

I wasn’t watching when Ian left but why did he go and is he still with Jane?
He was married to Sharon at the time he left.
She wanted revenge because of the part he played in Denny's death. (Arguably Phil played a bigger part in that, imo).

Anyway Sharon tried to poison him but had second thoughts.
Phil was on his trail also, as he usually was but Ian left before he got to him.

I would assume Mick had a will, and had left the pub to his kids after him and L split , which I think would override Janine being married to him, or the fact that he’d called the police on her and they’d split straight after the wedding would mean the kids or Shirley could easily contest it.

but this is eastenders

Didn't Phil hit him over the head in the pub and somehow Tina got the blame?
