Thank goodness super nurse Sonia is there. I bet she suddenly has loads of knowledge of midwifery. She’s also been an A&E nurse, practice nurse, and worked in every ward characters have stayed on. Oh and she gives great advice to those suffering from cancer.
Sonia is Supernurse, she specialised in geriatrics, iirc, but she knew all about mental health, every single cancer, covid and now she tells us she worked in A&E. There's nothing she doesn't know about nursing

I wonder if Zach is the person that abused Lily.
He would have access to her when she’s spending time with Martin when they all lived at Sharon’s.
Him fathering Whitney and Lily’s babies would be typical soaps.
Any speculation of him leaving (jailed) could be covered by the cruise ship storyline.
I would usually also suggest Jack as Lily is adamant Jack should not know. But I don’t see EE doing that to such a long running character.

Why has Whitney taken half the square to her baby scan with her 😂
Lmaooo what is going on here and why is sonia always involved 😭 I used to like Whitney back in the day but something about her just aggravates me now, i think her inserting herself into the gray saga pushed me off the edge. her and zack are so bad and i wish i could wipe the foot massage scene from my memory forever

I’d get her taking Chelsea and Sonia, but why Finlay and Felix 😂 Chelsea’s her best mate and Sonia her auntie but the other two she barely knows that well lol

Jaw, iirc!

When I think of ‘Jaw’, the first scene that pops into my head is at the height of his schizophrenia when David walks into the flat and everything is covered in tin foil.

Now, I know it was a very serious storyline as very well acted out but that scene was obviously too much for my teenage brain and I couldn’t help laughing. Just David’s face had me. Though David Wicks was a dish.

I remember that storyline being ridiculous and the tinfoil just topped it off. The only time Eastenders has got a mental health storyline right is when Stacey had post partum psychosis, imo. Although, saying that, when Jean was first in the show, that was quite good too

Not seen any spoilers on this so could be totally wrong but I reckon that 5 second flirtation with Denise and Ravi means an affair for those two. Hilarious that two characters who’ve never had anything to do with each other will no doubt get it on cause she wanted to book a table for dinner 🤣
And because she'd had her hair blowdried.
Funnily enough I'd just commented on how shiny and great her hair was looking when Kim piped up about Denise needing a freshen up!

I think it's confirmed that Ricky is the father of Lily's baby now. All the stuff about Jack ignoring him in favour of Amy, and threatening Howie about Denzel's intentions with her is foreshadowing for the big reveal. Sam said something like "Ricky might need me soon" the other day too. I would be surprised if there is a big twist for such a sensitive storyline... however it is EastEnders; they turned a domestic abuse storyline into a serial killer storyline.

I like Whitney but I hate how they have kept piling trauma onto her over the years. The Gray saga and Kush being murdered was too much, especially because it happened not long after she had been stalked (by her childhood abuser's son of all people), stabbed the stalker to death, then had to go through a trial. I hope she gets to keep her baby and is happy for a while. I reckon Zack will end up getting with Chelsea though... can't see Whitney having a happy ending with Zack.

He'll ask why she never came last night, she'll imply her and jack are ok but will look unconvinced, and then Ravi will make moves. Boring

I am suprised they have decided to have Zack contract HIV from needles rather than unprotected sex - he obviously does engage in a lot of casual sex assuming unprotected (I don't remember it ever being specified but given he thought Alyssa was his you can assume). However I think it's an interesting angle as steroid usage is really common among young men, I remember boys in my sixth form using them and this was only 3 years ago so they are prevalent among that culture of men. I've seen a few people say he would've known not to share needles but i can buy him and a group of lads not really getting the dangers or thinking that it wouldn't happen to them so they're fine - same principle as doing drugs itself or unprotected sex if you really think about it. I am wondering as it's supposed to be from ages ago how they will address other characters potentially being infected. Janine would have been tested at pregnancy appointments, Nancy I guess they likely had some form of protection giving she was planning to be sterilised but Sam/Whitney/whoever else I'm not sure. I think they would do good to show the need to contact previous partners and how it's difficult but very important to do so. I'm sure Sharon/Martin will be a really good support system for him but Whitney can naff off.

And don't forget her operating on Ben in The Vic that time.
Performed a tracheotomy there and then, she did... 😁

I don’t remember that scene! That’s amazing.

Sonia is also a mental health expert. Every time someone in the square has depression, or is showing signs of any kind of mental health problem, Sonia is always the first to notice the symptoms. Usually while sitting on her arse in the cafe looking concerned.
