Have you always been able to watch tonight's episode on BBC iplayer early? Loving that I've seen it already but don't believe the baby is Ricky Jr's. I think she's just saying that to protect someone else

but same! i’m watching classic eastenders too and jamie is the absolute worst! at the time i remember being so jealous of sonia but he really isn’t great to her most of the time.

I was so upset by him dying it's genuinely stayed with me through all these years and now I'm watching it and I really side eye myself haha. I too was insanely jealous of Sonia at the time and now I find her total rip off of her once mother in law Pauline Fowler! Mad how our memories can be.

same! it DEVASTATED me and i was excited to rewatch him in the old episodes but he’s so awful. i think i was blinded by that curtain haircut though i would like to hear phil bring him up occasionally though, watching the old eps reminds me that jamie was first on the list of “phil’s replacements for ben”.

it is crazy how much we misremember stuff. i just hope that dennis (when he arrives in the classic ones) is exactly as i remember!
