I have to say this: Lawrence Chaney came off really badly in that episode and I haven't seen a peeeeep about it online. It seems he's been edited to push him as the fave and everyone is just going along with that? I think it's probably partially insecurity but the constant interrupting and the personal digs. I just know he's the kind of person that I'd be exhausted by in real life. A mate of mine replaced a crew member on the show when it returned to filming and won't give me any tea until it ends because it would ruin the show for me 🤣 But he did say Lawrence was a big Diva and we'll see that unfold a bit more as another queen starts to pick up more wins, unless his reactions are heavily edited out.
I agree, loved Lawrence at the start, but I'm starting to get rather irritated by the attitude at times. Comes across quite rude at times. Shame he's Ru's favourite.

I love Lawrence but I imagine he's hard work. He's also good at throwing shade but not so good at taking it back. I still want him to win though.

Watching the Queens at home is interesting. Ellie Diamond ended up homeless for a while which must have been really tit.

LLawrence has just said he has binge watched Ru and said he will do everything that Ru likes.

Poor Veronica has just tested positive. She doesn't know what to do with herself. Don't worry Veronica, you'll be back next season.

How do I get the queens at home ? x

Never mind, found it!

I like Lawrence but I can certainly see how he may be a lot for people. Plus you never know how much they edit out!

Still can't stand A'whora. Haven't liked her the whole time and that hasn't changed.

Sister Sister needs a refund on their teeth. They're awful!
I didn't really like them to begin with because they were just bland and constantly blaming others for her being crap.
Now they just seem full on witch and annoying. Even more reason to dislike her 😑

I think what Ru was saying is that if you’re going to use a base off the rack dress bling it up customise it. Not just put on a crappy black belt and a pair of granny heels.

That's what I took from it as well. I think it has just come across badly because of the pandemic context and the chats the queens were having about their lack of work etc etc.

I honestly thought the Bananadrama performance just lacked overall. It wasn't nearly as entertaining or as well put together as the other group and can see why it fell short for the judges. It did feel like they were all performing separately, rather than working together as a group. Whether that was the mix of abilities/strengths, or personalities I'm not quite sure.

People on Reddit were saying Ru’s fluorescent wig was to hide the face tapes he was using because his Botox/fillers had worn off 😄

He does wear face tapes in drag so it makes sense!

Also, remember the most recent RPDR finale when he wore a face mask because he doesn’t do his own make up? 🤣

I was wondering why he had a face mask on 🤣

Interesting input from the vivienne

I was just typing something about this. I know they get a list of possible runway looks, so I assume they also knew in advance they'd need a pink girl band style outfit. In that case, although they could upgrade their looks during the seven month break, the issue about not being able to afford custom made outfits and having to buy things from the high street is more a "bigger picture" style issue rather than a specific pandemic one.

If Lawrence said their dress was from H&M, Ru would have been in hysterics. The favouritism there is starting to grate. The dress was awful but it was for a singing challenge, not the runway, so I don't think Joe deserved such a bollocking, especially when that runway look was one of the best I've ever seen! The attention to detail! It's such a close competition this series, it's a shame to see any of them go.

But I must say, there's such a disconnect between the judges and public perception imo. I think the British humour and style of drag (not that there's one monolithic style) gets lost in translation and it's so frustrating to see. It's far more akin to the US version for the queens to be perfectly polished and looks orientated. For instance, last week Michelle critiquing Bimini's messy wig... it was a monster challenge and Bimini's whole style and character is rough around the edges! I don't know, I think I'm just getting a bit sick of Ru (in general!) and the judges expecting the queens to fit their narrative and booting them off when they don't.

THANK YOU!! So bloody true!!

Exactly didn’t understand that one bit, Bimini should’ve won that week it’s bullshit. Nah guess Lawrence doesn’t have enough badges by now
🙄🙄🙄
